My husband and I purchased our washer 2 years ago when we moved into out new home and absolutely love it. We have saved so much money on dry clean because of the hand wash and delicate wash cycle. Also it's so nice when you have kids as well that are potty training the deep clean setting works wonders. Energy Efficiency The enegry we have saved with this washer is so much better then what we were using with a top loader Cleaning Time Cleaning time is awesome. Especially when you are needing things done fast you can set it on speed wash and in 30 minutes you have your clothes or what you need cleaned. Performance The performance of the washer is awesome. Like I said before with dry cleaning it fits our bedding and cleans it just as it would be clean at the cleaners. And it doesn't ruin them either. Design The design it's awesome. I love that is also has the storage drawers which is great for small spaces and helps with storage.

I've spent a couple of months with my new GE Vibration Control washing machine, and so far, I am pleased with its performance. Spin the dial to your preferred wash cycle (whites, color/normal, delicates, speed wash, drain and spin, or basket clean) and the soil/spin/temperature controls automatically light up. However, you can change the default to suit your needs. Soil goes from extra light to heavy; Spin has choices from no spin to high; and Temperature ranges from tap cold to hot. There are also options for extra rinse, lock, and signal. The signal is the only thing I don't like about the washer. It's loud and repetitive and I don't see a control to alter the volume. Otherwise, I can't find much not to love about this large-capacity, easy-to-use front loading washing machine Cleaning Time Cleaning times are a little long. I usually use the Speed Wash cycle and that works well for my needs.

I decided to get front loading washing machine because I have back problems and I thought it would be easier to load it. We did some research and decided on going for GE. We got the pedestals that go under to make the machines higher. The washer vibrates a lot and it very noisey. I have a laundry room on my second floor and when I am in the garage, it sounds like a plane passing by when the machine is spinning. It also makes the walls vibrate when it spins. It seems to get the clothes clean. I do have a big complaint on the smelly clothes. I noticed if you let clothes sit in the washer for more than a few hours, they really stink - towels especially. I have bought washing machine cleaner and that seems to help. I have heard that is common for any front loading machine.

I like the machine, but it takes way to long to wash a load of clothes. I feel I am spending more on my light bill by using this on. I  had a GEW, Top load, the did not take as long, as did as good of a job, as the front load. But the cleaning power of the two machines were the same. I like the top load better.

My family produces a ton of Laundry! Our GE Front Load Washer has been great both on saving time & money. A regular wash cycle takes about 56 minutes but washes about twice as many clothes then my old Top Load washer did. I love that our washer offers SEVERAL options for customizing your loads, and it has almost made our need for dry cleaning obsolete because of the very delicate cycles, and the hand wash cycle. Each of these cycles can be customized to water temperature and spin speed. I gave this washer 4 stars only because on occasion I have had a few items (sleeves on long sleeve shirts, and pant legs on childrens clothes) get "eaten" by being wedged in the sides of the drum. I'm always very careful to not "over pack" the washer, so I'm not sure why this happens. In 4 years it has happened maybe 3 times and luckily to items that weren't expensive or new. Overall I would recommend this washer to anyone! We also purchased the matching dryer and love that they have a stacking option to save space!

I love my GE washing machine. We got a great deal on it, which was nice. I love finding bargains and this machine was just that. I was so excited to do my laundry when we got it and I have never been disappointed. The washer is fantastic. It gets my clothes incredibly clean. Even when there are stains that I am worried will not come out, they always do! It's a fairly quiet machine, which is great, especially since it sits near my baby's bedroom. It spins so fast that it gets so much water out and drying doesn't take much time. It's awesome. I love all of the different wash settings too. No more hand-washing in the sink because the washer has a setting for it! It has a large capacity so I can fit more, and I don't have to do as many loads. The only slightly negative thing that I can say is that because it spins so fast it shakes the floor a little bit, but I think that is mostly just because of the house we are renting right now. Great machine!

My GE front load washer and dryer has made a world of difference in my home.  They hold much larger loads, they are much more cost efficient and what a time saver!!  The sensor in the dryer keeps it from running once the moisture is out of the clothes.  The washing machine spins so fast that it practically dries the clothes themselves!  Now if I could only get it to hang, fold and put up the clothes it would be the perfect appliance.

IF you do not have a front loader washing machine and have boys with dirty clothes, you are missing out. I LOVE my front loader. It seems to get the clothes cleaner than the other type of washer. I like the different types of load you can have. If you have a smaller load the clothes still get clean but is a shorter amout of time. I like that is it easier to load and unload the washing machines. I like that it uses less soap. IT is kind of fun to watch it work as it spins the clothes around. It definitley gets more water out of them in than the other washer I had. The only drawback is that it is not a good idea to 'over stuff' . Originally when I purchased the machine the salesmen said if you can get it in there then put it in. The more the clothes the cleaner the clothes because of fricktion. Well, when the repair man came out he said you are filling this washer too full. I expressed what the salesmen said and he said it was a sales pitch. Don't over fill it and you will be fine. So not, I put in the right amount of clothes and I LOVE IT!

My washing machine crashed after about 10 years and I had to get one quick.  We chose this GE Front Loading Super Capacity Washer, and I absolutely love it.  The door to this machine is huge so it is easy to get clothes in and out, and the capacity is huge.  It is easy to use, and lets you program your own choices.  It is quiet running and cleans close very efficiently.  It was in our price range, easy to set up quickly, and is very efficient for a busy family.
