GE Front-Load Washer with King-size 3.6 Cu. Ft. Capacity, 14 Wash Cycles & LED Cycle Countdown and Status Lights Review

My wife and I replaced an old GE Top Load Washer about 1-1/2 years ago.  Being a Navy Submarine Vet where Front Load was all we used, I suggested that we get a Ge Front Load Machine.  "BIG MISTAKE"!!!  The water conservation feature does not allow enough water to fill the machine to be effective.  When the clothes finish washing, there is a stagnant odor that suggests the clothes are not thoroughly clean.  Our white clothing are systematically turning gray.  My T-shirts are literally dark (almost black) in the underarm part of the shirts.  This is probably due to residual deoderant not coming out during the washing process.  We paid a substantial amount of money (per our income) for our machines- Washer & Dryer with stands.  We are now shopping for a Top Load Washer because we are so frustrated and dissatisfied.  I have offered to give away my Front Load in exchange for a Top Load.  I went to Home Depot a few days ago and spoke with an appliance salesperson and explained the problems we are having.  She suggested that we wash the clothes in the normal setting then wash them a second time in the Sanitize Cycle.  Washing each load twice defeats the purpose of Water Conservation.  I have never been so dissatisfied in my entire life about a product.  I have many friends that have been in the market for Front Loads and I strongly urge them to get the Top Loads.  I don't know if my issue is a GE issue or an issue with the technology.  Either way the machine doesn't work to my satisfaction and will be replaced.  Maybe I should video tape me crushing the machine and put it on Youtube to show how I really feel.  What makes matters worse is that I read a couple of reviews that indicated the same problems I am experiencing.  But since the happy reviews outweighed the unhappy reviews, I disregarded what I was reading.  By the way, I have tried using different brands of HE Detergeants.  SAME RESULTS!!!!
