BEst Buy Purchase...  Lasted exactly 14 months. (was repaired once at two months) GE should be ashamed to seel this product.  I grant you this was not a "high end" dishwasher, but you would expect it to last at least 3 to 5 years.

Our QuietPower3 GLD4500 came with our new house purchase. This is not an energy-efficient dishwasher. Dishes are still wet after the wash & dry cycles. The wash cycle takes 2+ hours. The normal cycle is absolutely ineffective and merely a waste of a feature. The fancy features are just that - a waste. Whoever put the "Quiet" on the label pulled that term out of a hat - it's far from quiet. It's obvious that GE put this dishwasher out there in a rush, to make money off the consumer. I WILL NOT BUY ANOTHER GE DISHWASHER.
