My GE dishwasher was an extremely bad purchase decision. The one that came with the house was very old so when I was shopping for one, I wanted to go with a brand I trusted which was GE. Little did I know when purchasing what I thought was a great dishwasher and a great deal in the color I wanted, how many problems and money and aggravation it would end up causing me and my husband. About seven months after it was installed I noticed mid cycle it would stop so I would open it and it would be steamy soapy dishes. This happened about ten times before we called someone to fix it. They said it was a piece that wasn't attached properly and making it not run full cycles. It was also extremely loud when it was working and drying the dishes. When we called the manufacturer they pretty much said not their problem. Luckily the store gave me a credit, but as for GE dishwasher especially this one, I would never recommend.
