I don't know how to use this phone. Is that strange or what? I have used telephones all my life so this should be easy...but no. When you push the button to turn it on, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I can type in the number of the person I want to call and sometimes it will dial, sometimes it won't. Sometimes I can get a dial tone, sometimes I can't. I hit redial...sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Get the idea? Another thing that is confusing is that sometimes after an attempt to call someone - which fails - I don't get the phone hung back up correctly and so anyone attempting to call our land line gets a busy signal. Nope, this phone is not for me (it belongs in my parents' house fortunately!) I will use my cell phone and forget the frustrations that I have with this model.
