The JC Penney Gold Card is a really good credit card.  It is a very versatile card,  because not only can it be used at the JC Penney department store,  it can be used at all CVS pharmacy stores.  It can be used for prescription drugs and anything else in the store.  At CVS you also earn extra bucks for everything uyou purchase.  I've had my JC Penney credit card for around ten or twelve years.  I really enjoy it,  because they have started a rewards program.  For anything you purchase,  you earn points,  which are converted into gift certificates.  Just for signing up with the rewards program I got a ten dollar gift certificate.  Also having gold member status you get gift certificates almost every month for ten dollars off any ten dollar purchase.  i use these alot to buy my daughter the instyle clothes.  The only thing I don't like about the JC Penney's card is the interest rate.  It is pretty high,  in the mid twenty percent.  They will not lower your rate even if you always pay on time.
