This range is awesome! My husband and I loved it @ first sight, but it was a bit pricey! We looked, priced and researched a lot of other ranges and ended up back with the GE Cafe! I love the slide in ,and its bottom oven is the greatest! It does not heat up the kitchen in the summer and it's the perfect size for the meals I prepare for 2.For holidays the main oven is large enough to handle a turkey and all of the fixings and the probe is great for making sure food is cooked without the hassle! I cannot say enough I am glad we spent the xtra for a quality range!

We had to replace our old range after 13 yrs. After shopping and comparing my husband and I kept coming back to this range because of it's features including that it is stainless steel. It was not the lowest price but we believe "you get what you pay for", so I worked it into the budget. Boy are we glad we did! The even baking and temperatures make a world of difference in my baking and the convection baking shaves a lot of time off of some meal prep. The only thing we do not like is that the control panel on the front of the range for the oven etc. is not backlit making it difficult to see @ night. I did not think I would use the lower oven, but that is the oven I use the most since it is smaller (still holds full size cookie sheets etc) it is perfect for meals I cook for my husband and I when the big oven is not necessary

I must say that I am very pleased with this oven. First of all, its modern industrial look adds pizazz to my modern kitchen. I love the blacktop, the chunky knobs that control the temperature, the touch screen keypad, and its overall unique style. It is different from other ovens because it looks just like one that you would find in the kitchen of a French cafe. It has five burners, four to cook on and a small one in the back that acts as a warmer. There is also a bottom warmer, but I use that part of the oven to store pans. I especially like the oven light that I can turn on so I can watch my food being cooked. Although there is so much about the oven I like, there are two drawbacks. I probably could have done without the fifth burner or warmer burner because it takes away some of the much needed space on the stovetop. If I need to cook with two large pots or pans, there just doesn't seem to be enough room to accommodate both of them. The second problem involves the keypad on the front of the oven. While I am cooking on the stovetop, if I lean forward a little too much, my body will touch the keypad and trigger the oven to go on. Other than these two complaints, the GE Cafe is a great oven that I would highly recommend.
