The GE buit in dishwasher is a great addition for you kitchen. Like all dishwashers it saves you time and helps for a quick cleanup before or after guests are in your home. I really like ours. We have had no problems with it and have owned it for a couple of years now. It does a great job cleaning the dishes even when I put them in pretty dirty and the drying part does a good job as well. You can fit a bunch of dishes in as long as you put them in kind of organized. Noise Level Noise level is really great, it is pretty quiet. Cleaning Time The cleaning time is good and I think pretty similar to other dishwashers. Loading Flexibility Great, you can fit a lot of dishes in there. Performance Leaves dishes clean and dry. Design The design is nice, although I care less about that than how clean the dishes will be. Durability I believe it has good durability. We have had ours for at least a couple of years now and have had no problems with it. Our GE appliances have always been great.

I bought this dishwasher around 4 years ago and its ok. I wish I would have choose another one but at the time I didnt know. Its inside area is small and doesnt really hold the expected amount of dishes. When you run a wash cycle it takes a very long time to go through all of the stages. It cleans well if you are only putting in a few dishes. If you need to do a whole load I have found that I am re washing some of the dishes over again and that's not cool. You must always pre rinse the really grimy dishes for they never become clean. Sometimes it leaves a nasty film on dishes that looks like soap scum and those always need to be re washed. It has a drying cycle also but it doesn't dry. I have found a lot of times I am drying the dishes by hand because they are still soaking wet. I myself do not like to put dishes away still wet. Utensils are cleaned pretty well. They have their own separate basket on the side that is at the bottom so the washing cycle hits them well.

I am just so excited about my GE dishwasher! It is so quiet and it works so well! At first I didn't know about needing to add the spot free rinse and so my first load I had spots all over my dishes and I was very worried, but after my mother told me about the spot free rinse, I started using it and the dishes are so amazingly clean, cleaner than I have ever seen them. I still wash my dishes by hand first, then throw a huge load in the dishwasher.. a friend who works with appliances and maintainance informed me that if we run the kitchen sink until hot water comes out before starting the dishwasher, it is best for cleaning the dishes since it won't fill half up with cold water before the hot water gets there, which is a big factor in killing all the germs as it gets so hot in the dishwasher. Also he told us liquid dishwasher detergent is best, so we stick with these few rules and the dishes always come out sparkly clean now and I can feel reassured that they are not harboring harmful bacteria. I also saves on time because even though I still hand wash my dishes, I don't spend a lot of time doing this since I know the dishwasher will get anything I miss. It makes life so much easier.

I purchased this dishwasher about five years ago or so when I purchased my first home. So far I have been fairly pleased with it. For the first four years of its life it was very quiet. It is not quit as quiet anymore and it is no longer under warranty so I am not sure why that is. It makes a taping sound while running. It does still do a great job washing the dishes. I like the fact that is has many different options for washing and drying the dishes. I takes about an hour on of the basic setting to wash the dishes which is not too bad. When I use the dry setting it works pretty well. You do not have to scrub the dishes too terribkly much before placing them in the dishwasher. I normally wash them off prior to putting them in, but that is probably over kill. I am not sure that I would reccomend this dishwasher though since it seems to have developed some problems.
