Beautiful and works great!

Comments about GE Adora 1100 Watts Microwave Oven:

We purchased this microwave oven back in December of 2012. It is larger than our previous microwave, which was a huge plus for us. This microwave seems to cook things in a shorter period of time, which is always a plus. With the size of this microwave, it seems that we can put larger items in it. The defrost feature also seems to work very well. It doesn't take nearly as long to defrost as our old microwave did. Although I should note that our old microwave was pretty old and near dying. The color of this microwave is also very beautiful. It is slate, not stainless, which means that fingerprints don't show nearly as much. I hope that other companies begin on the slate trend, because it is a great feature.

This GE microvave oven is hot!

By

from Olathe, KS

Comments about GE Adora 1100 Watts Microwave Oven:

**This GE Adora DVM1850 1100 Watts Microwave Oven is a good buy, though the under oven light has a tendency to come on late at night. We got the **GE Adora DVM1850 1100 Watts Microwave Oven as a built-in appliance when we bought our home in early 2010. The **GE Adora DVM1850 1100 Watts Microwave Oven** has worked well for us over the past year, and the only real problem we have had with it is a tendency for the under oven light to come on by itself, late at night. The **GE Adora DVM1850 1100 Watts Microwave Oven has a built-in vent fan, and its outside vent sometimes flaps in the wind, which was a little disturbing, until we could figure what was making the noise. The **GE Adora DVM1850 1100 Watts Microwave Oven is also set a little too low over the cook top for comfort, but that is not the fault of the microwave. The **GE Adora DVM1850 1100 Watts Microwave Oven cooks well, the turntable works like a champ, and it is easy to clean. Overall, the **GE Adora DVM1850 1100 Watts Microwave Oven is a good buy, works well, and is a very good value, that we are very pleased with.************

The GE Adora is a stylish, multi-function microwave

By

Comments about GE Adora 1100 Watts Microwave Oven:

The GE Adora Microwave is a nice, mid-priced, multi-function microwave.  Among its top features are its generous interior space and quick-cook settings.  Of the many microwaves I've used over the years, it seems to have superior defrosting functions, too.  It allows you to set the weight of the items you are defrosting and manages them quite well with few overcooked spots. Additionally, it has a 1-lb defrost button for quick defrosts of smaller items.  It has 6 quick-cook settings (1 - 6 minutes) and 6 presets (popcorn, beverage, reheat, potato, vegetable and melt) and comes standard with a vent hood and stove light for over-stove placement.  It comes with two metal racks that could be placed inside (though I've never used mine, others might find them convenient).  The glass turntable inside provides for even heating and is easy to remove for cleaning.  The interior of the microwave itself is pretty easy to keep clean--there are no odd nooks or crannies to collect food debris.  The brushed stainless exterior is also easy to clean.
