I love this phone. It has great sound and a wonderful answering machine. I can check my messages from any where in the world. This one of the best cordless phone I've ever bought (and I've bought alot). You should try it, it couldn't hurt.

Far from the best cordless telephone I have ever owned

Have never been truly satisfied with this phone.  Sound is poor, never can get it loud enough, usually end up putting people on speakerphone so that I can hear them, hate doing that.  Also unable to cradle the phone on my neck while talking, always seem to disconnect due to the placement of the on/off button.  I will say that the phone does not have an interference problem, that is the only good thing about it.  Wish that I had taken it back right after I bought it, now I am stuck with it.

Okay I've had this phone 4 a while now (since Feb 2008) and I've been pleased wit it.  I bought this model really only bc I dont want tha ordinary looking gray or black modelz that r out thare so when I saw tha color I knew this was what I was looking for but aside from me being mainly a "looks" shopper first, I wouldnt have bought it if it had been cool looking but severely lacking in features.  I do not use this as my answering machine bc I have another unit in tha home that is already used for that purpose so I cannot review tha quality of these features.  I have Packet8 (VOIP 4 those of... review »

This 6.0 phone is great. I hardly ever use the answering machine part.  The caller ID works great and remembers a bunch of numbers over 30 numbers.  I also like it that it has the cordless extension that I only have to plug in and not have it connected to the wall, only for power to plug in. I have one of the units in the living room and the other unit in the bedroom. That way I am never very far away from a  unit. I  also like to use the spearkphone, it is great for hands free talking.  Sometimes I am at my pc and amy typing and need to talk with out hands and arms holding hte reciever.
