I have owned this microwave for 6 months now, and it is in daily use. Compared to my old Panasonic microwave (bought in Singapore, therefure unuseable in the US), I am a little disappointed. In terms of ease of use and cooking ability, it can't be faulted - the dial on the frint makes setting the time very easy, in 10 second increments, and there are buttons to easily adjust the power. You can also take advantage of the pre-set times/power levels for a number of different dishes. The difficulty I have had is that the plate inside has the words "For Microwave use only" on the bottom, and the letters are raised. When I put anything more than a small plate of food in, the additional weight makes the plate rub against the bottom of the oven, and this sometimes makes the plate stick and not revolve. I think I need to invest in a glass file, then it will be just perfect!

We have had this microwave for about 2 months now. I was hesitant about buying another GE because our last GE microwave only lasted about 4 years. I decided to stick with GE so that it would match our appliances and the brand seems pretty trustworthy. The microwave is a nice size, not too big or not too small. I have been impressed with a few features. It defrosts items much more evenly than the old GE microwave. Our old microwave would start to cook the outside of frozen meat items while this microwave defrosts evenly without starting to cook. Another great feature is the top browning element. I have only used it a few times, but it seemed to work great browning pizza, bagel bites, and other snacks. The top browning element does take several minutes to warm up though. I think that it may be faster to use my oven broiler to brown things, but it is convenient to use the microwave for small items. My only complaint about the microwave is that it is a little bit noisy. The microwave tray rattles a bit as it is being turned while the microwave is running. But overall, I am happy with my purchase.

It coordinates quite well with our other stainless steel kitchen things. ** **The digital dial used for setting cook time is very cool! I really like that change (from the number buttons). I like that the door opens with just a pull of the handle (no push button). I like the simplicity of the ****GE 1100 Watt 1.3 Cubic Feet Microwave Oven's control panel.** **So far (we just set it up a few days ago), the ****GE 1100 Watt 1.3 Cubic Feet Microwave Oven is doing a great job heating food. Works MUCH FASTER than our old dated microwave. Our old microwave didn't have a rotating plate in the center and this new one does. Love that!** **I'd say a great product!**
