Works fine.... but it is corroding~  The paint is bubbling inside the oven and it actually looks like it is burning up.  I have to get a new one and fear giving this away because It just doesn't look safe anymore.  It just gets worse as the months go by.  I have had this microwave for 6 years.... the paint corroded at year 4.  The door and  bottom of this oven are very scary to look at.  I do believe this think will go up in flames one day so I am throwing it out tonight. No more GE.

        I bought this GE microwave because of is size, price, and style.    It has the rotating turntable, popcorn button, instant defrost, five pre programmed buttons for easy cooking time, the 30 second button..my personal favorite.    I cook everything for 30 seconds.   the works!  I am noticing that is is starting to corrode.    The protective white "paint" for lack of a better word is starting to come over on the inside of the microwave.    I don;t know whether to replace it or let it go.    The machinge for the most part is working just fine but I am scared to run it due to the fact that I fear it catching fire.    Its a descent size mircowave and to replace it would be to costly for me right now.  Does anyone else have this model and have any problems with it.    Is there maybe something I can buy to replace the bald spot that are showing the bare metal underneath of the "paint."
