Fuzzi Bunz Pocket Diapers Review

Fuzzi Bunz are definitely a decent quality diaper.  They don't leak as long as you double or triple up the inserts.  I don't really like the inserts they come with, so I bought BumGenius ones to use with these instead, and they work great.  There are some things I love about Fuzzi Bunz, like the adjustable snap closures on this diaper, the good PUV material, and the fact that they really do stay dry inside.  They wash well and you don't have to touch the inserts to get them out - just shake them out!  I definitely like these better than prefolds!  And I would never choose a disposable over these for overnight use unless I had to! 

However, the price is a bit much.  They don't come in one-size, so this can get very pricey at almost $20 a pop (not including extra inserts, which you will need). I've decided to switch to huggabuns.  They are MUCH cheaper and work just as well.  They are really quite similar in style and function, except they come with a better (hemp!) insert.  Unfortunately they are made in China, but then, Fuzzi Bunz are made in Mexico so oh well.  Also, I've noticed that on the old-style Fuzzi Bunz, the threading can start to unravel around the pocket area.  To me that is not a big problem, you can always mend it quickly, but it may be a concern for some.
