I was shocked to find out that my son was allergic to certain chemicals that they use to make disposable diapers waterproof, so I wasn't all that prepared to use cloth diapers, but it was really our only choice.
These diapers are great though! I now would never go back to disposables. We spent about 400 dollars to get everything that we needed to start cloth diapering, it seems like a lot at first but that cost has already paid for itself. We were spending over 100 dollars a month on disposable diapers, and now I have the possibility of never buying diapers again! How exciting is that!?
They are easy to use (using them is almost like using disposables) super easy to clean - just toss them into the washer and then into the dryer, come in neat colors, and are really durable and will last baby a long time, because they have adjustable snaps! The best thing ever in my books!
My son has never had diaper rash since we started to use these either, we also were experiencing problems with explosive poop (which got everywhere) but with these diapers we haven't had any leaking, poop explosions or anything else unpleasant!
