Fusion Fire - Villa Park, IL —

My wife and I were dining at a local Brazilian Steakhouse that had recently been bought out by and given a corporate makeover. The food had changed, the music, the staff...everything! Even the caparinhas were being made with vodka (horrors)! We talked to our waiter about this and he slyly looked around and told us to try Fusion Fire. It was a small place and not well known, but it was where the Brazilian staff at the chain restaurants went to eat.

The food at Fusion Fire is excellent. While the salad bar is definitely smaller than at other Brazilian steakhouses, it was serviceable. And let's be honest, you're not going to these places for the salad bar. The main draw here is the meat on a sword and it is as good, if not better, than the fare at the more well known locations! At $25 a plate, its also half the price of a Fogo.

The staff is pleasant beyond compare and goes out of their way to make your dining experience a first rate one. Our first time there I had asked for lamb and was told they hadn't prepared any for the evening. 20 minutes later out came a leg of lamb just for me!

All in all, Fusion Fire was a top notch experience and comes highly recommended.

This sounds like a really great, yummy place. Sounds like the staff are first rate and go out of their way to accomodate their customers.

One of my neighbors is brazilian and he's always having these meat and beer parties.

Anyhow, he and some of his friends told me that this place is a whole lot better than any of the other Brazilian steakhouses around.

I Love Fusion Fire. Good atmosphere, great service and hospitality, fantastic food and half the cost of other brazillian steakhouses.
