IKEA Poang Chair
I love IKEA. They have some nice stuff and as long as you are willing to put it together, most of it is worth it. I bought a Poang chair because I really like the way they look and feel. I was lucky and got the chair itself in the 'as-is' part, but had to buy the cusion. Now I bought the vinyl cushion ( as my boyfriend tends to spill things, so fabic is not good for us) and it was abit expensive, but worth the money. Sauder Better Homes and Gardens Willow Mountain Coffee Table
We picked up this coffee table at Walmart for $129 plus we got the matching end table. I wasn't sure about the color because the picture made it look pretty light but it's actually a very nice medium cherry colored wood. It was extremely easy to put together which has been the case for all of the Better homes and gardens products I have purchased. It seems very sturdy(my 3 year old has even climbed up on it!) and durable. This "tab" design is one of the worst engineered things I've ever dealt with. I have worked in the furniture industry for many years and have assembled all kinds of shelving. This "insert tab into slot" design makes me want to scream and stab my eyes out. As you assemble one cross bar the other pops off, over and over and over and over again. I feel like I am part of a scientific experiment to see how much a person can handle before completely losing their mind. AND once it is all together it is flimsy like a drunken whore. Bad bad bad.

I just put together this desk by myself-- bought for ~$400.00. The desk is available online at many furniture store sites, which advertise it for much more. Don't be deceived, many sites offer price match, so there's no need to pay more. You just have to email/call them and ask.
