The Furniture of America Grandby Cocoa Brown Power Lift Recliner was purchased last month for my father. He chose this product and it was delivered to our house within two weeks. The store employee explained us how to use the chair and I was pretty impressed by this chair that not only looked and appeared comfortable but it had a handy stand-assist functionality that could help in raising and lift the chair at an angle. The product has a cocoa brown color and is extremely soft and relaxing in terms of the quality of the seat. The price of this product is quite high but looking at the comfort and happiness of my dad, it is definitely worth the price. He has not complained about the material and feels happy and relaxed sitting on the chair and having a morning coffee. The product also gives a 30-day replacement warranty which no other company offers and it's a great deal.

Too funny. We actually received this chair for free from friends of ours who mother passed away after only using for about 6 months. My father in law stays at our house quite often and cannot get out of a chair by himself. Plus, my own father is getting up there and having issues getting out of our low-slung, modern couch, so our friends knew we could really use this chair. I think they purchased it at K-Mart, but could be wrong. If I had to buy something like this ourselves, I would prefer a material such as leather or something I could clean easier. We have a white Samoyed dog and his fur clings to this fabric. It's nice looking, though, has a couple of nice pockets on the sides that we store Kleenex and some napkins. The darker brown is a lovely color, more like a deep mocha. We keep an ivory throw draped over it which makes it look lovely. It took us a little while to get used to the noise when the chair is being operated, whrrrrrrrrr up, then whrrrrrrr down. But hey, my father in law can step right away from the chair as if he had stood up by himself. We didn't realize how handy something like this would be, so pretty glad we have it. Never having another lift chair before, I don't have anything to really compare this one to. So far, we're quite satisfied.

The furniture of America power lift recliner is a welcome addition to any living room, and I love to lounge on the chair at the end of a hard day at work! The power lift system is very unique to this type of recliner and I did not purchase it for this reason. The power lift system does work very well, and this device can help me out of the chair if I am feeling incredibly lazy! I like the brown finish on the recliner, and it blends in with the other furniture in my living room. The recliner leans back with a lever on the side of the chair, and this is not cheap looking. It is very easy to recline with this chair. The best part about this recliner is that it is very comfortable to sit on! I fell asleep many times while I was lounging on this recliner at the end of the day. The only feature that I wished this had was a cup holder to hold a nice cold drink! Otherwise, this is still an excellent piece of furniture to add to any living room.
