Furminator Deshedding Tool Small Reviews

When I adopted my oldest cat I was immediatly overwhelmed by the amount of fur that he managed to leave everywhere he went. I could not even pet him without large chunks coming off of him and covering me and wherever I was sitting. I bought The Furminator in hopes of reducing one of my cats furballs (supposedly one of its benefits). He is a short-haired cat but seems prone to cough up a furball every 2-3 weeks. — He absolutely loves being brushed with it and I get a lot of fur off of him but I can't honestly say that I have seen any noticeable reduction in his furballs. I had heard such great things about this brush.  I was very excited to get it after saving up for it.  (It was quite expensive!).  I have two long haired cats who shed a lot.  My cats normally loved to be brushed and I usually get a ton of fur off of them.  However with the Furimator brush the cats hated it.  The brush has a very sharp edge and I was very careful with it, but both cats hissed and growled while being brushed.  The package shows a cat with a huge amount fur removed from one Furimator session.  I was very diappointed with the rather small… read full review »

I am the proud owner of 3 cats, a long hair, a medium hair, and a short hair.  I have seen the shedding problem reduce, not go away.  But then any reduction in 3 cats shedding over everything is a good thing. — The brush is easy to use and you do see the results the moment you start using it.  The instructions are easy to understand and follow.  I was amazed at how much fur I got out of the cat in just 3 strokes.  The cat's fur felt smoother, softer and looked so much more shiny. — Great product. —… read full review »

The furminator is the best tool I've ever purchased for gromming my dogs.  It quickly and easily strips an amazing amount of undercoat and the dogs love the "brushing".  It's easy to hold and use at any angle - towards or away from you - so you're not constantly having to move the animal around.  Well worth the money - you'll wonder how you survived before you got… read full review »

I work for a wholesale pet supply distributor and I had never heard about this product until I started working here. I had it given to me as a sample to try and I will not recommend anything else!
