I purchased the Fujifilm FinePix Z20 fd Digital Camera back in 2008 when I became interested in photography, but didn't want to spend a lot of money. Right out of the box this camera didn't take great pictures. The images were very grainy and out of focus on every image I took. I started to tinker around with the settings until I was able to take the best quality pictures possible with this camera. In order to take a great picture with this camera I had to put it in manual mode and tweak the color settings until it produced an image to my liking. Despite all of my adjustments shooting video was another story. I shot several videos under different lighting setups and all of my footage came out extremely pixelated. There was also serious choppiness in the frame rate of my videos. Even though the Fujifilm FinePix Z20 has a lot of flaws I would still recommend it for first time photographers because I was able to learn the basics of photography and apply them to a better camera down the road.

I was looking for a camera to replace my aging digital camera and came across the Fujifilm FinePix Z20 camera. I loved that it came in so many bright colors. It was a tough choice between the lime green, hot pink, and royal blue, but I finally ended up with the pink. The 10 megapixels were plenty at the time and I found them them to be more than adequate for cropping and making 4x6 and 5x7 prints from my photos. The colors were very accurate and the anti-blur stabilization worked nicely when you weren't absolutely still while taking the picture. I really liked the one touch movie recording button. It was a nice feature that many models did not have. The video wasn't excellent but it wasn't too grainy either so it was probably comparable to a cellphone video. What I wasn't fond of was that you slid the front lens cover to turn the camera on and off. It quickly became annoying when the cover accidentally slid a bit when in a bag, purse, or pocket. I also liked the removable SD card. It was nice not to have to plug the camera in every single time I wanted to transfer pictures and I always brought a second SD card while on vacation or when I knew I'd be taking lots of pictures so I could always be sure to never run out of room. Overall this is a very good camera. It isn't amazing but has all the features you want in a camera.

I love Fujifilm Fine-pix brand, and this is another great camera that they have made. I just bought this camera on eBay a few weeks ago after searching for a good camera. It works wonderfully to take good quality photos. I do have to say if you are looking for a basic point and shoot camera, I wouldn't suggest buy a Fujifilm camera. However, if you would like to take great photographs, and know how to work with the different settings on a camera than I highly recommend this Fujifilm FinePix A400. Image Quality It takes photographs, as long as you know how to work a camera like this. I do, however, wish the megapixels were higher on this camera. Even so, the picture I have taken have all been of good quality. Performance It performs very well, and takes great quality pictures. Ease of Use This is very easy to use, as long as you know how to use the variety of settings on digital cameras. My best advise would be to experiment with it, and it's different settings to understand how to use it to take better pictures. Durability So far this camera has been very durable. However, I have only owned this camera for a few weeks, so I'm not sure how durable it truly is. FujiFilm usually are good cameras that last for years from my experience. So, I am hoping this one will too. Battery Life It has a good long battery life. Portability It's small, lightweight, and easy to carry.

I have owned several Fujifilm FinePix cameras, and they are by far my favorite brand of camera. For the price, it takes the best quality pictures. I usually take picture in macro as I sell a lot of miscellaneous items on eBay, so I have to take close-ups. I have found that Fujifilm cameras have remarkable macro capabilities. Image Quality The picture quality on this camera definitely a ten! When I used the Fujifilm FinePix Z20, the image quality was amazing, especially using the macro setting for close-up pictures. I'm not sure why, but when using macro photography, it really brings out each tiny detail out subject. It has 10 megapixels and 3x optical zoom. It also has picture stabilization which works very well so your pictures are never out of focus or blurry. Performance It's performance was awesome, one of the best cameras I have ever owned! Ease of Use It's a very easy camera to use, even for those that may be camera illiterate. Durability I owned this camera for over two years, and the only reason it broke was because I dropped it. It would probably still be working great today if I hadn't of broken it. Battery Life This camera has a very long battery life. Portability It's lightweight and easy to pack around.

I was looking for a camera for a trip to the beach. We also were going to the pool pretty often with our kids so figured we should look I to a waterproof camera. I looked into a lot of different reviews and decided to buy this camera. I was scared to use it the first time but it worked very well. First we tried it as a regular camera and the picture quality was extremely good. I was very surprised as I had purchased specifically for water use. I then used it at the pool. Quality was so good! I took several pictures under water. They were clear and nice. I've used it several times and very happy with the purchase. I would even recommend using as a full time camera. There are so many features and options on it also making it advanced as well so there is so much to do with it. My favorite feature is that you can connect to wifi and transfer straight to your phone and post immediately.

We bought this camera for my 13 year old son. The reasoning behind purchasing this camera for him over others is that it is water proof, shock proof, dust proof, and freeze proof. Basically, this camera is nearly indestructible! At the very least, I figured it would be more difficult for him to accidentally break this camera than others. So far, it seems that this camera was a good decision. My son has taken it to sleep overs at friends' houses, on school trips and on lots of other various day trips. It has not quit working on us yet and it was purchased almost two years ago! The pictures it takes are nice, they have come out clear and crisp. The view screen on the back is really large, especially for a smaller point and shoot camera like this one. It has 14 megapixels, which is only 2.2 less than my much more expensive large camera! Image Quality The pictures look nice, and the videos that it takes come out very nice too! Ease of Use My son had no problems figuring out how to use this camera. It's very straight forward. I also have no problems hooking it up to my computer to upload his photos. Durability Super durable! Battery Life Great battery life and easy to recharge! Portability Fits easily in a pocket!

I bought this for my son who is eleven. He asked for a camera and I didn't want him to have an expensive camera that would get broken within the first year, but at the same time, I didn't want to get him a piece of junk that I would regret buying later. So I settled for this Nikon fine pix. He figured out how to use it immediately after taking it out of the box, it's very simple to operate and takes surprisingly clear photos. It also comes with free software for uploading your photos, although it's not absolutely necessary to upload and print photos. He also loved the blue color, it's his favorite and he felt like it was something of his own that his younger brothers and sisters weren't allowed to use. It was a great investment just seeing my son's face light up. Image Quality It take surprisingly good photos, I wasn't expecting much but got something pretty great. Performance There are a lot of scene modes, etc. that can be used and takes some knowledge of cameras to really be able to use them correctly. So we don't use many of the different modes, just automatic focus. Portability Very small and portable, my son can carry it in his pocket.

I would recomment this Camera to everyone. Easy to use. The plus with it can be used it under water. It takes great pictures and easy to manage. It also comes with a battery charger. Image search is a great option, so are the slides to choose from normal to fade-in, multiple and also has a scrap book view. Easy to carry around.

I purchased this in July while on vacation. t's a great camera and very easy to use. It takes Panoramic pics and videos. I used it two weeks ago in Baltimore to videa a Christmas light show and the Power Plant there. It took great video and also picked up the sound. I love it!
