I received this camera as a Christmas gift.  I had been looking at the Nikon Coolpix s4000.  Let's just say that I ended up buying the Nikon after trying to use this camera at my daughter's first gymnastic's practice.  I am a professional photographer and would never use this camera.  I wanted a point and shoot camera that I could keep in my purse and take wherever I went.  I tried taking pictures of her at this practice and they all came out grainy.  I was not pleased with the quality of the photos.  I used several different settings trying to fix it and it would not work right.  I did a little research and while this camera is priced a good bit lower than the Nikon Coolpix S4000 it does not even began to compare.  The features on this camera are not that great either.  There aren't nearly as many options available as there are with some of the other point and shoot cameras.  This camera is not going to be on my list of things to recommend to people.

The Fujifilm Finepix A170 10.2MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom and 2.7 inch LCD is a very nice little camera for the money. I was looking for a camera that I, a techie-never-wanna-be, could figure out and use without having to read a giant user's manual or watch a 2 hour instruction CD, so this camera is perfect for me. It has a 10 megapixel and 3 times optical zoom, as well as a panorama mode. It makes the pictures i take look very professional. Since I am an E-Bayer seller, it is very important to me that my pictures look good, and I need to be able to show every detail of an item, worts and all. This camera does that, even showing the sparkle on an item of jewelry without a lot of computer editing. I especially like the anti-blur feature, which eliminates subject movemwnt, or shakey photographer's hands. And at around &80.00, it is a lot less expensive than other cameras out there. Now if only batteries were included!
