Great camera for the price.

When shopping for a new digital camera I wanted to try and find one that was similary in body style to an SLR without the $500 price tag. Being that my previous camera was only 2mp I wanted something that while enlarging photos for printing I wouldn't have to deal with the horror of distortion. Looking at numerous camera from several manufacturers I finally decided on the Fuji Finepix S700. This camera has a great balance and design for fitting in your hand. Get's the job done, but has a few quirks.

looking for a bargain, txtng dly, computer literate, somewhat tech savvy

The FujiFilm FinePix S700 does well at taking pictures, but it's large and can be cumbersome. It has 7.1 megapixels, but I still have problems with online photo galleries. I always have work with the pictures before they can be put in photobooks. That is a little aggravating. I've also had some problems with the software that comes with the camera. I have to try a few times before the pictures upload from the camera to the computer. The pictures I take look great, though.
