Comments about Fuhu Nabi XD 10.1" Tablet with Nvidia Tegra 3 Processor & Android 4.1 OS:
I bought two of these Nabi tablets to use with the after school aged kids that attend our daycare. We don't have the space for computers nor do we really have the funds for them. I still wanted the preschool and after school kids to be able to have educational games to play on occasion.
I found these tablets on sale online and after reading the reviews figured it was a good deal.
Overall they fit my needs to a T. They are formed so they fit well in the littler hands. They are sturdy and I went ahead and bought the suggested cases for them to give them a little more protection . They come preloaded with plenty of educational and kid friendly apps and have the option of putting certain locks and passwords on them so you can be sure of what the little ones are and are not able to do when using the tablet.
It does have the full android store which makes it easy to customize the tablet to diffrent ages. The two I have are currentl. Mainly packed with e books and music for the older kids and color, letter and number games for the younger.
The battery life is pretty good. I usually get a good 3-4 hours of heavy use out of them before they need to get charged again. They as I said earlier are pretty sturdy- they do get dropped or bumped quite a bit by the kids and they still work as well as they did when I first bought them.
Overall I'm glad I went with these ones.
