Before going on a 13 hours car trip we purchased this for our son who was about 18 months old at the time. We were able to put movies on this for him to watch while going down the road. It has been over a year and we still love this. He loves doing puzzles and playing games that both entertain and teach. Whenever we have to sit in a doctors office or take a long car ride this comes with us. We had an issue with it not charging properly last month. The manufacturer sent us a new charge cable for free and it fixed the problem for us. I am so happy with this and the customer service. I would suggest this to anyone who has a need for some kind of movie playing device for a small child.

We purchased the nabi2 for our son for Christmas 2013. I thought the idea of a product that is geared to young kids would be perfect for him. I fell victim to the promises of their TV commercials. We are two months into owning the Nabi 2, and we are on our 2nd one. We exchanged the first one after a few calls and facebook posts to Nabi cares. The Nabi runs very slow, and freezes constantly. Any app that my son tries to play after a minute or two the screen just locks up and won't let him play. The videos work better with fewer freeze ups, but sometimes kicks him off the wifi or in the middle of watching a video a message pops up that says unable to load at this time. This second Nabi isn't any better which makes me think that it is just is not a good product. Rather than our original thought that maybe we just got a defective one the first time. During one of our calls to customer service I mentioned that my son is Autistic, and can't handle the frustration of the Nabi just freezing on him. I was told that Nabi has a program called Inspire that is especially made for childern with Autism. When calling back again after our problem ticket had been esculated we asked if we could exchange his Nabi 2 for the Inspire, and was told "NO" we had to go online and apply for eligibility for the Inspire. I am so glad my husband has more patients than me, he filled out the application for the Inspire. I am so ready to cut my losses (best buy said we can't return it) and just buy him a GOOD tablet. The only reason I am giving the Nabi 2 a rating of 3 is because their customer service was very friendly every time we called. If not for that I would have given it a 2 just because it powers on.

I love this tablet! I purchased it for my five year old daughter, and it has exceeded my expectations! I will compare it to the Kindle Fire. You can watch Netflix, sync it with Amazon's App Store as well as Google Play, and there are endless amounts of free apps that can be used. The battery is great and my child love it. The best part? It frees up my tablet and gives my daughter an environment that can be safely used for learning as well as fun.

My 5 year old received this for Christmas last year and he absolutely loves it! It is very engaging, has educational and fun programs and games on the device that keep his interests for hours. There are games that work with counting and colors, songs he can sing a long to, has all his favorite movie characters and tv characters. The battery life is long lasting, don't have to keep it plugged in to use, we turn it off at night and charge it through the night and then its ready for him the next time he wants to use it, there is no problem with it holding a charge.

I have a 3 year old and a 5 year old. I bought them each a Nabi 2 and i was shocked at how PERFECT they were. The nabi was simple enough for them each to use and in "mommy mode" it was just like having my own tablet. I also own an ipad and i found myself using the Nabi just as much. there are parental controls and different app to set up. I loved the chore list for my 5 year old. Her room has been spotless ever since she started getting rewarded on her Nabi for keeping it clean. I would recommend this product to anyone that is considering buying their child/ren a tablet. It grows with them so you don't have to worry about replacing it as they get older. The only reason I didn't rate this product a 10 is because nothing is ever absolutely perfect. The only flaw is that my daughter wanted a purple case instead of a red one LOL!

Compared to the other tablets that are around for kids like the Vtech tablets I believe this product is much better. The quality and durability are two of the things that stood out the most for me. For me a product that is intended for children must be a very durable product and the nabi is.

When I first heard of this little tablet for kids I thought it would be too advanced for my son. Well, I was wrong! I purchased this for my son, despite my prior thoughts, and he loved it! It's perfect for little kids. It keeps him entertained and the best thing is, it's durable. My son has dropped this 1000 times and it still works just as well. Perfect product!

My daughter received this as a gift from her grandparents for her sixth birthday. I went to best buy with my mother in law and spoke to a knowledgeable salesperson about it. We've had it four months now and it's been wonderful. Our daughter can play it for quite a few hours before we have to plug it in for a charge. It came with a lot of age appropriate games that she really enjoys playing. It's been a great tool to help with her reading and it's perfect for long car trips. She's able to work everything by herself, from volume to moving the apps around. It's also been dropped and banged around a little, but doesn't show a scratch or dent. The red rubber case on the outside makes it easy to find when it gets set down in her room and keeps it protected. We haven't purchased anything extra to go along with it, but we also haven't seemed to be missing anything from not purchasing the add ons. I anticipate this lasting for many more years.

My 4 year old son has a Nabi 2. It's really a great product. We use the amazon App Store to purchase apps. Nabi has it's own App Store you can purchase from as well. I really like the mommy mode feature. It allows me to limit the things my child has access to. It also has a feature where your child can earn coins that they can spend in nabi's App Store. They can earn coins by completing chores or homework. You can set the tasks your child must complete in order to earn coins.
