Frontline Top Spot for dogs kills fleas dead!

5

Frontline Top Spot for dogs has always been the product that I've used on my yorkie. It's what my vet applied when I first adopted my puppy and it's what we've stuck with because it's always worked. I've never seen a single flea on my dog and that's very important to me because my dog only goes outside to use the bathroom other than when we go for visits to the park. And my cats are indoor only. So my yorkie is the only one that could bring fleas in the house unless of course one unlikely hitches a ride indoors on the leg of my pants. I also flea treat my cats with a cat spot treatment to make sure everyone remains flea-free. I am very allergic to flea bites myself so our home must remain free of fleas at all times. I'm afraid my kiddos may have inherited my flea allergy and our pets like to share our beds. Quality of Ingredients The quality of ingredients is very high. It kills fleas safely and effectively. Side Effects My yorkie has never experienced a single side effect from using Frontline and hasn't had a single flea.

No more scratching

As an adult I have alway had a cat.  My cat is an inside cat so I never had to worry about flees and ticks.  Last year my mother got me a 1year old daschund for my birthday.  Even though as a child we had a dog I didn't have the responsibility of taking care of the dog so this was new to me.  I noticed shortly after I got my dog that he was doing a lot of scratching.  After talking with friends and co-worker who were dog owners it was recommended that I try Frontline Top Spot Flea and Tick Control.  At the time my dog was 12 pounds so I ordered some online.  Once I got the product I read the instructions and followed them.  I found Frontline for my small dog extremely easy to use and noticed within a couple of day he wasn't scratching as much and then after a week or so he stopped scratching altogether.  My dog is as happy as he could be and I'm happy that he is not full of flees and ticks.

A must-have for dog owners!

I love this product!  It's so easy to use and you don't have to worry about your pet chewing on a flea collar with the risk of poisoning.  It never fails to protect my beloved pet from those nasty fleas and ticks. It is a bit oily until it dries, but it's worth it. Highly recommend!

Frontline is the only flea control product I will ever use

Frontline really delivers on it's promise.  My dogs never get fleas or ticks.  It has no odor and leaves no residue on my dog's fur.  It it super easy to apply.  I would urge all dog owners who love their "babies" to use Frontline every month.

I am an owner of 2 cats and 1 dog. You know there is going to come a day when you come home and find hairballs everywhere or wake up to the noise of one of your cats scratching and you know it is time to go get Frontline for the critters.  Since I use to work at a veterinarian's office I know the little bugs can over run your home very quickly. I trust and only use Frontline Top Spot on all of my animals. Working at the veterinarian I have seen and heard horror stories of owners applying other brands and their pets have gotten sick or worse... Frontline is safe, effective and trusted by so many people. Frontline may cost more, but isn't it worth it to have a product that works and you don't need to worry about hurting your family pet?

Has never failed me!

I have NEVER had any problems with Frontline. I trust it to keep my house and dog flea free. :) I have used it on five 5 different dogs and it has worked on all of them. I will continue to recommend it and remind people- you get what you pay for! That cheap store brand has always failed me when I've tried it. Hah. I'd rather not have to pay the exterminator!! I have never seen any of my dogs have reactions to Top Spot OR Frontline Plus but have seen reactions to others such as Advantix. I rest easy knowing my dogs are protected from fleas with Frontline and from Heartworms with Heartgard and I highly recommend you invest in these products now to avoid the costly vet bills that come later on if you don't. If cost is an issue, try searching online for the best price or ask your vet if they will price match- many vets these days would rather keep your business than have you go elsewhere because of cost.

Frontline Plus for dogs really does what it says

We are the owners of 4 cats and 2 dogs. We have never had a problem with fleas or ticks until one day this summer when one of our cats decided to bring the unwanted guests of fleas home. I dashed to the store and bought one kind of topical flea killer and have to say that it did not work. It may have been a few bucks cheaper but was not worth it since it did little to get rid of the little buggers. I then went to our local pet store and purchased the Frontline for cats and dogs and came home. We gathered up and applied the treatment one by one. I have to say it was extremely easy to apply, one quick snip off of the top and squeezed it on the back of the head down by the shoulder pads as directed. There was very little, if any smell from it and what was there was not unpleasant. The animals did not even seem to notice it was there. The other brand I used left a wet, almost gelled like appearance on the fur. But the Frontline left very little residue.  I was very happy to see that the fleas were gone from all animals within two days ~ not one little flea! We now use the Frontline as directed every thirty days to prevent any infestation and have not had one problem. I know there was also a lot of controversy in the news recently about some animals having adverse reactions to these kind of products. Our vet assured us that Frontline was fine to use and was a reputable product. We will continue to use it to keep all our family members, both human and furry, happy and scratch free!

One of the better flea preventatives

Frontline is one of the better flea preventatives in my opinion.  I have also used Frontline Spray on my dogs (especially good to spray around their legs if they will be going into a high flea or tick incidence area).

Good Flea and Tick Product

First let me say that I do like animals but I grew up in a house full of cats that shed everywhere.  I was a little reluctant to get a dog when my husband wanted one but we did it anyway.  Two of my criteria for getting a dog were that they could not shed and we had to find a good flea and tick preventative because **I don't do bugs**.  So the vet recommended Frontline.  We have been using it on my dog for several years and have been very pleased.  She is an inside dog so she doesn't go out all that much and occasionally and when I say occastionally I mean once or twice a year we do find a tick on her but it is always dead.  I am assuming due to the Frontline.  The only downsides to Frontline is that it is expensive so you should not always buy it at your vet.  Some hardware stores and co-ops sell them and the price is usually a little better than your vet's office.  If a tick does bite your dog it will not prevent them from getting a disease.  It is only a preventative to help keep fleas and ticks away or at least in my experience.  My dog got Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever and our vet said it was most likely from a tick bite. All in all, I recommend this product.  It has worked well for my dog.
