I use this all year even though I live in Illinois.  It is the best.  I have two Australian Shepherds and work part-time in a pet store where the owners can bring their pets so I don't want to chance if I would take a flea home on my clothes that they would get fleas.  I have never had fleas and don't want them because they go through the house.
