Frontline Plus —

I have found that Frontline Plus works well, but for a very limited time period. Ticks here in upstate New York were terrible this fall, and for the first week and a half or so after putting on the Frontline, they did not attach, but after that, I regularly found ticks attached to my dog, even though I was not supposed to reapply the Frontline for a few weeks. I wish I could use a tick collar on my dog, but they make her sick. She tolerates the Frontline well, but the protection is not long lasting. She has had chronic Lyme disease for many years now, and it's a real dilemma. So I can't give Frontline a strong recommendation, but it is the one tick preventative that I can use, so I can't totally knock it either.

I_thumb_down Frontline Plus is not recommended by alaughingdog
