I like front line but when you have more than one dog it gets quite expensive.  Also when it comes to applying to my cats they run and hide.  I wish the pharmaceutical companys would come down on there price.  With some of the other topical flea products you can 4 vials and with frontline you only get three.

It would also be great if the company that puts out frontline would offer discounts or coupons for people who have multiple pets in there household or places that run a shelter or rescue.

It would not pay for me to have pet insurance for my older dog. She is now 14. For there shots I take them to Petco in Waterford, CT. They have a vet that comes there on Sundays from 10am to Noon. All you pay for is the shots. You don't have that extra fee (office visit fee). And then I fax over a copy to my vet for there records.

I thought I was the only one that had a seperate account for my fur-baby. I also have pet insurance which helps save on his vet bills and flea prevention is covered in this also.

I ended up switching to K9 Advantage because you get 4 tubes instead of 3. So what I do so I can afford the cost of medical care and flea products, I set up a seperate checking/saving account for my dogs. I try to put a little at a time in this account just for them.

I so know what you mean about the price. I only have one inside pet(7 lb, mini dachshund) and although we know frontline plus has great reviews and appears to be the safest way to treat our pets, we tend to want to lean towards the cheapers versions. PLEASE trust me when I say DON'T DO IT!!! I took this route and almost lost me baby due to it. And get this, we still had fleas. Consider the cost of all the sprays and stuff you use in your home and yard to fight off fleas and invest this money in something you know will work and not hurt your pets. I would hate to see anyone go through what I did for 4 days after using the cheaper brand. It's just poision to our animals. Good luck to you and all your fur-babies. We hate those nasty fleas too.
