Frontline Plus —

Listen, I've loved FrontLine Plus for Cats for years---until it stopped working! Nowhere in the product info will you find any inkling that this could happen. And considering it's designed to keep our furry friends flea & tick free, that's important to know. Also, when you realize it isn't working, it suddenly becomes cost-prohibitive: You can't re-dose them, so it's money down the drain.

Try calling the toll-free number? Good Luck! I don't care how well you've documented the failure of the product, the MANUFACTURER WILL DO NOTHING. 1-800-PET MEDS DOES HELP, however, by refunding you money or sending an alternative product.

The best way to avoid this problem: Don't use it every flea cycle:Alternate to another brand, like REVOLUTION. That way, your pets won't suffer---& neither will you.REVOLUTION is great for another reason, too: I have a cat who's 17 years old, & Amanda doesn't froth at the mouth after Revolution is applied. (Frontline Plus isn't suitable for her anymore because of this development.)

ANOTHER GREAT TIP: IF YOU HAVE A YARD, TREAT IT WITH "NEMATODES". THESE HARMLESS, MICROSCOPIC CRITTERS EAT FLEA (& MANY OTHER HARMFUL) LARVAE & YOUR PETS CAN ENJOY THE OUTDOORS WITH YOU, WITHOUT PESTICIDES! NEMATODES ARE AVAILABLE THROUGH "GARDENSALIVE.COM" &/OR ANY FINE OUTDOOR GARDEN SUPPLY STORE.

Wow, I'm not surprised at your info; just like using antibiotics too often, the body becomes too accustomed to them and they become ineffective. Good to know, thanks!
