With 9 cats (3 pets and 6 fosters) in the house at the moment, flea preventative can get really expensive very quickly.  This summer I tried to take the cheap route by using BioSpot and Zodiac Spot-On flea treatments which were only about $5 per dose.  Unfortunately neither of those products worked on our bionic fleas and I watched the cats scratch and chew themselves like it was their full-time job.  Finally, I bit the bullet and ordered three 6-month packs of Frontline Plus for about $60 each.  The two month supply for all of our cats cost almost $200.  My husband was not happy when he...

For a while, we couldn't figure out what was wrong with our little cat Lorelei.  She was scratching like crazy and even biting her own fur.  The reason we didn't jump immediately to fleas was that our other cat George was totally fine.  He wasn't scratching or biting even though Lorelei had been for an extended period (about a month and a half).

Please don't think me cruel for not rushing her to the vet immediately!  I have grown up with animals, and like people, it isn't always beneficial to rush them to medical care and treatment when sometimes all they need is time to heal.  My husband...

I have been useing Frontline-Plus for years,  We live in an area where there is a lot of sand, a place fleas love.  My animals get there treatment faithfully every month, as a results our animals have been flea free for years.

In the beginning,  We had tried a varity of different flea products, mostly because of the cost.  By the time we finished, we ended up spending more. No other product out there worked as good as Frontline-plus dose. Turned out it is a lot cheaper and smarter to spend that extra to get Frontline-Plus for your cats and dogs.

As we found out last year Frontline-Plus...

Unfortunately, on my last vacation with family, my sister brought her four dogs along and I brought my cat. Now my cat has NEVER had a flea in her life! Seriously. Nonetheless, once I returned home, I noticed that my poor cat had fleas and lots of them! Ugh the utter horror to me. I was freaked beyond normal, thinking there will little flea eggs all over my pillow, etc. (which there just may have beeen). I just didn't know what to do but I went to my local vet and they recommended Frontlne for Cats. I only bought one for $15 dollars and I also did buy a spray for carpeting and bedding, etc.... read full review »

I have several animals and have tried lots of different flea preventers and treatments and out of all of them, this is the only one I have found that works. Its 100% effective and would recommend it to anyone. My one cat has flea allergies and one bite from a flea and he is losing his hair and just looks awful. So when he aquired a flea problem, I tried everything to get rid of them. Finally my vet recommended frontline. We treated him at the vet and by the time I got him home almost all the fleas he had were dead. By the next day they were ALL gone and he was already starting to look better. Since...

I have two cats and this product works wonderful! It does everything it says, the only issue is that it seems to stop working about a week ahead of time. It is a little pricey but its worth it!

I got my first car a couple months ago and had no idea the costs I would incur by having a pet. My little kitty was a rescue so she had to go to the vet immediately and get all of her shots and tests. While I was there, the vet recommended that I use Frontline every month for flea and tick prevention. I picked up a three month supply while I was there and after I gave her her first treatment, it started working about 24 hours later. We have a minature pincher too...and you definitely have to make sure both animals are treated around the same time to make sure the medicine works the best it can....

I owe my flea-free house to Frontline.

When I adopted my cat from his foster home in 2007, I didn't realize that I was also adopting a herd of fleas. By the time I realized what the strange "dirt" on his face was, my other cat had also become prey for the parasites. After reading review after review of horrible and even deadly allergic reactions occurring with a well-known store brand flea killer, I envisioned hundreds of dollars in vet and medication bills ahead of me.

Thanks to Frontline, we ended up flea-free for well under $100 however. Within the first couple of days after applying a vial to...

I have purchased many different types of flea control for all my pets and nothng really ever worked 100%  My mom actually finally badgered me into trying Frontline for both my cats and dogs (2 of each) and I was absolutely amazed at the results,  All four animals are flea free, obviously I find one here or there on them, but they are not scratching or thankfully I'm not getting bites anymore!!   have a two year old daughter and we were constantly having to use those flea bombs in our house, but not anymore.   It s fantastic I hghly recommend it.  My cats are indoor/outdoor cats so it gets... read full review »

I was pretty dissapointed with this product. Frontline Plus didn't kill my cat's fleas. What it DID do was cause them to gather around her head and neck area, above where the medication was applied. If anything, it made it easier to remove the fleas with a comb.

A few months after we stopped using Frontline Plus for our cat, the Petsmart in town took it off the shelves. According to them, the fleas had built up an immunity to it. That would explain why it didn't work for us.

I own two cats that are both Indoor/Outdoor cats. They usually have a problem with getting fleas and I was using Advantage on them for awhile, but the Vet said that Frontline is a better product for them. He said it costs a little bit more than the other product but the benefits are worth it.

My cats don't seem to have a problem with Frontline and it also appears to kill the fleas really fast. I see that as a great thing because who likes getting bit by fleas?

It's very easy and quick to apply, with no mess.

This product is safe and affective, and it saved my cat.  He kept clawing at his ear until it was nearly ruined.  The minute I put this product on him, he ran for cover; but I noticed quickly that he soon stopped scratching, and I stopped seeing the terrible flea eggs everywhere.  He keeps himself clean now, and I have a much cleaner house, and I have a much healthier animal.  I am so glad I purchased this product.

I used Frontline three month supply and it did everything it said it would. My cat "Socks" is an indoor/outdoor cat. He was free from ticks and fleas from the very first application of Frontline. There were never any adverse side effects from this product. The only draw back of Frontline is the cost. This product is very expensive. If you can afford to by it I would highly recomend it.

I have three cats and that gives me a huge problem with fleas.  I ordered a large vial of frontline plus on ebay that i can dose out to each cat, and so far I haven't had any problems with fleas this summer.  All three cats do well with the application.  The only problem I have, is one of the cats starts drooling a little right after application, but this goes away quickly.

I use Frontline on both of my cats faithfully every month for 10 months out of the year. It has been a lifesaver because they both like to go out and hunt and bring me back presents! I feel safe letting them go out knowing that they'll be protected by Frontline. I've used it for about 8 years now. It works better than any other type product out there.
