I buy the FrontLine Plus off of Ebay for large dogs. The formulation is a slightly different than what the vet sells for cats but its close enough. I buy in the large tubes measure out a small amount, put it on the cats neck, and for the whole month flea and tick FREE.  Great stuff and Ebay's price smokes the vet
