Frontier airlines is a decent low cost, single service alternative to the competition. I find their planes very comfortable, with the exception of the smaller commuter flights operated by their wholly owned subsidiary Lynx Aviation. The service is friendly, though they do tend to be a bit stingy with the drinks - way too much ice! There seemed to be some confusion as to acceptable payment methods for optional services such as snacks and in-flight television service. The only method of payment accepted was credit cards! No where at check in or on their web site did I find this information. I am used to traveling on many airlines, and usually cash is accepted (especially if it's exact change). I do like the wildlife photos on the aircraft's vertical stabilizers!
Pros: on-time service, clean comfortable aircraft, pleasant customer service personel. Cons: unable to utilize in-flight services if credit challenged, poor beverage service
Overall -- a good buy at a good price - without the frills!
