First a little background: — Let me just tell you, I should be a potato chip reviewer all on it's own...I could do it! I am a complete potato chip addict! After trying to quit my "bag-a-day" habit, and failing miserably...I figured i'd try to find a way to keep eating my favorite snack, but… read full review »

My fiancee and I tried these, as we both love the French Onion and Cheddar flavors.  This one? Not so much.  We didn't care for them at all, they didn't have much flavor, and were pretty bland.  Not something we'll buy again, especially as pricey as they… read full review »

Sun Chips have been a favorite of mine for several years now! This chip is somewhat of a cross between a thin wheat cracker and a chip. I love the "multi-grain" goodness and the crunchy texture of this chip! I also love that they are lower in fat than regular potato chips; a great consideration for those of us who are trying to be health-conscious in our desires to snack. I really love the taste of the French Onion Sun Chips and the Cheddar flavor. The Garden Salsa flavor is good too and I didn't think they were too "zesty." These chips are also a big hit with my grandchildren and I… read full review »

Sun Chips are a perfect alternative  to the regulat potato chip. They are packed full of flavor and crunch and deliver satisfaction for your money spent. Sunchips are like a lot of things in life you get what you pay for. They are by no means as healthy as crunching on carrots or something like that, but when it comes to these compared side by side to regular potato chips Sunchips wins hands down. Thay are a great source of fiber and multibrains. The kids love these chips as… read full review »

If you never tried Sun Chips, you are in for a big treat.  Don't let the multi-grain deter you from trying these.  They don't taste like any kind of health food snack.  They have a great flavor, the different varities are great too.  I love the cheddar cheese flavor the best.  They are always a holiday treat.  My family also likes to munch on them at the high school football games.  We bring lots to pass around.  They are great with dip… read full review »

I have always loved the sweet texture of Sun Chips snacks, so I couldn't wait to try this new healthier version made with whole grains.  The chips are not only a great crunchy texture, but there is so much tomato flavor in every bite, you will want to eat the whole bag.  These chips are made with whole grains, but they taste like a fresh baked tortilla chip.  Each chip of the garden salsa variety is spicy and zesty with a vegetable blend of flavors.  The flavors stand out against the crunch of the chip but not too bold.  Each chip is made with whole corn and tomato… read full review »

I have always been a big fan of the original Sun  chips flavor.  I feel they are very tasty, but not as bad for you as regular snacks such as potato chips. — I was given a sample of the new flavor and did not know what to expect.  I love them!  I like the spicy flavor of them.  I feel like I am eating chips and salsa without the mess.  I try not to eat salty snacks, but sometimes I just need some.  The spicyness of these helps me eat less than I normally would eat other snacks.  — I had my husband try them also.  He is fussy about… read full review »

I like all SunChips. But these by far are the best tasting. You would never know they are low in fat. I tried them when they first came out on the chip stand and then I had a hard time finding them until they must have realized how well they were selling and started stocking up. I diet very regulary but I just love my chip so I do not feel all that guily when I sit and eat a bag of tha salsa SunChips. When I eat chips I do not just sit down and eat a couple I sit down and eat a bag of them. You should not be afraid of these because they are low in fat. You would never know they were low in… read full review »

I'm a big fan of Sun Chips. They're made of multi-grain, and are not as unhealthy as most snack foods out there. I think they are an obvious choice when looking for something crunchy, salty, and tasty to snack on. That said, it remains to select the flavor. For me, it comes down to the Garden Salsa and the French Onion. Though the French Onion is very good, I think the Garden Salsa variety has the most pizzaz and personality. It has just the right amount of spice and flavor. Try it - you won't be… read full review »

Sun chips, it is true, have less fat than regular potato chips, but that does not mean you have free rein to chow down on an entire large bag.  Even though it is more expensive, if you buy the snack-size bags, you get a good, salty snack, with not too bad a hit in the fat and calorie department.  French onion was my favorite, until garden salsa came along.  The cheddar flavour has that fake cheese powder taste that all cheddar snack objects have (eat real cheese if you want cheese… read full review »

Sun Chips are a wonderful healthy snack and each flavor is all it's own.  When they first came out I was a bit sceptic on flavor but each time they come out with a new one I am completely impressed.  I have been eating healthy for over 5 years now and think this a great snack in the afternoon between meals or even with a turkey sandwich for lunch.  I was very pleased to find these chips in our local Subway… read full review »

These chips are great.  My kids especially live the flavor.  They are a little healthier than other chips, so that makes me feel better about buying them.  I think they are very good too.  I like a lot of the other flavors, but I think the word Garden in the title makes me feel a little better (healthwise) when buying and eating the chips. (lol)  They are great, and I would recommend them to others.… read full review »

I like to try new things. I'm not the most healthy of eaters, but I do enjoy great taste. To try these chips were not expensive to me because they came with a combo meal from Subway, I've seen them in convenience stores, and Wal-mart sells everything but a life. Sun chips did a good job with this new flavor and I don't know what's wrong with your sense of taste if you don't like them, unless you're not into spicy. ; ) —… read full review »

I must say that the taste is better than I expected them to be . My daughter is the one to eat this type of chip. I sent her and my grandson to get some chips to snack on, and my grandson came back with the sunchips for me. The flavor is not bland at all . It does'nt have that protein powder  taste either. Now when I go  to get snack chips I pick up a bag of sun… read full review »

Overall a very good chip. I buy them quite a bit for my lunches in doctors offices and I have never heard a bad comment about them. The flavor is unique and they are quite a bit more healthy then regular chips. If you've never had a sun chip I wouold suggest you try the original first to see if you like their texture and flavor before venturing out to other flavors. —… read full review »

I am definitely up for trying new things and I love all things spicy.  Since these new Sun Chips are salsa flavored, I assumed they would have some spice to them.  Unfortuneately, they lacked a lot of flavor.  They tasted almost exactly like the cheesy Sun Chips, which aren't bad, they just were not what I was anticipating.  Overall, I was not… read full review »
