Friskies Canned Cat Food Review Summary

"You can count of Friskies to be the food your cat will like," says one enthusiastic feline owner. Friskies Canned Cat Food comes in a large variety of flavors and several textures for picky kitties. The six ounce cans are perfect for one meal - no cold leftovers for your cat! Although this cat food is affordable and savory, it isn't the highest in nutrition of all the cat foods out there. Still, our cat loving reviewers say their cats are healthy and happy and won't eat any other brand! Check out reviews of other cat foods and compare.

Living on the farm people often ask me if I have "barn cats"    The answer if a qualified yes.  Yes, they do live in the barn because there are fourteen of them and a HOUSE with fourteen cats could BEmore like a barn.  But they do get put away overnight in the old milk room, with a heater in the... review »

I buy cases of this food for my 13 cats (8 indoor and 5 semi-feral) and they eat almost every morsel of it.  They don't like the kind that looks like it has been through a blender, they like the shredded and prime filet brand.  The last 2 are also easier to get out of the can and spread on the plate. ... review »

My cats are spoiled to the fine taste of friskies. They absolutely love it and gobble up every morsel. They all three prefer shredded  over the blended. I can't say that I blame them for that. The shredded does look more appetizing.  at least it's good to know i have wise cats. lol This is a little costly especially when you have 3 cats but they are my babies. The only kids I got and it may sound silly to a non animal lover but i am  going keep on pampering them  anyway.

FRISKIES CANNED Friskies canned food has been a safe, nutritional favorite with all of my cats for over twenty-five years. (One of my cats, Sierra, lived to the ripe old age of 21 and ate Friskies canned food. Cats crave variety (as well as good food) and Friskies canned food certainly delivers on variety. Friskies canned food was one of the few North American brand cat foods that was not tainted by the tragic Menu Foods recall of March, 2007. Most cats will not tolerate eating the same brand of food all of their lives (whether during one life or all nine), but Friskies canned food is good to throw...

I didn't have any pets until I married my husband who is a cat owner. I didn't know that I am a cat person until I met & became the Mom of these 2 darling cats, JC & Raven.

My husband always says that I spoil-rotten the cats; and he's right! Whenever we shop for cat food, we only look for Friskies brand - canned food, dry food or treats! We have tried to feed them other brands, and I can tell that they don't like them because JC smells the food before she eats and walks away.

I'm glad that now Friskies canned food comes in so many varieties - beef, beef & salmon (this is their favourite), chicken,...

In my house ( I live alone with two cats) we refer to Friskies as Snickers.  And that is because they act like I am giving them candy when I pop the top of a Friskies can.  It is great that their are so many varieties, but it also made it difficult to determine what my cats liked.  They are fans of loaf style and prefer seafood.  They will lick the sauce of the shredded or chunked, but that is all.  I don't think this is an issue because I am sure the others are liked by different cats.  It is also nice that it is affordable and better yet comes in economy priced larger packs.

The bad side...

Friskies Cat Food has been around for years.  Their product is definitely a must have.  Even when I was a kid our cats were always fed Friskies.  Friskies canned cat food is healthy, nutritious, and cats absolutely love it!  I mix 1/2 can with some dry food and a little bit of warm water and my cats purr while eating.  They absolutely love it.  They aren't finicky about the flavor, so I buy about 2 cans of each kind when I go shopping. This is a trusted, fantastic brand.  It's not over priced and I can find it at any grocery or drug store.  Definitely worth letting your cats try it.  You... review »

We tried a lot of expensive, nutritious dry foods and my 3 year old cat continued throwing up almost daily for a year.  I recently switched over to Friskies wet food and she hasn't thrown up in 3 weeks!  My other cat loves it as well.  I continue to keep the dried food down (they just share a can between them a day) to provide more nutrition ... and it seems to be doing the trick!!  My healthier cat eats and loves anything but my formerly "bulimic" cat loves all of the flavors except the ocean fish and mariner's catch.  Turkey is their favorite!!!  So glad I found Friskies!!!

My cats go crazy for Friskies cat food.  They love the red fish can food the most and come running when I open the can from far.  I like the varieties that this brand puts out because of the unique mixes and combinations and becuase there are so many of them.  Friskie cans are easy to open as well, I don't have to tub and pull them and I am not as afraid of the clip falling off before I get the can open and I am not as afraid of cutting my hand or fingers on the metal because it opens easier than other brands.

I'm sure you've heard of "PICKY" cats, well I have one of them.  He is going on 14 years old now and his favorite canned food is Friskies.  We have tried the other kinds, but with no success.  No talking this cat into something he doesn't want to eat.  We always seem to go back to Friskies, so I am convinced, that is the food he likes best!!!

Friskies has been around for years, so they know how to make the most nutricious food for your pet and make it tasty for them.

Friskies canned cat food is the only kind of wet food my cats eat. Most stores sell it, although their selection varies and is sometimes not very good. Overall, however, I find that there are enough varieties to satisfy all of my cats. That also helps when they get picky and decide they don't like a certain kind. It is sometimes a bit expensive, depending on the store, but overall I find it's worth its value.

my cat had urinary tract issues and used to be on prescription cat food from the vet which is tremendously expensive.  the friskies canned special diet is perfect because not only does it  not make him sick but its much cheaper than rx catfood.  and all 4 of my cats can eat it and love it.  its available pretty much everywhere and in many flavors.

Friskies is alright, my cat does not like it, she barries it like she is in her cat litter box. We have to tell her Twinkles stop that, and it sits there until she eats it. Which normally isn't very lond maybe a couple hours, but believe she makes faces, and shakes her head like this is nasty. She is very picky on what she eats, it is so weird.
