Friskies canned food is great in terms of price and availability. You can find it at almost any grocery store and certainly all pet stores. I usually buy the "loaf" variety, rather than sliced, filet, etc. because it's easier to spoon out in equal amounts. I like Friskies loaf because it's easy to feed the same amount every time. I buy the variety pack, which is a great deal. However, my cat doesn't like one of the varieties (the pink can, I think it's salmon).

Despite likeability (my cat's) and a good bargain, my vet says that Friskies is not the best in terms of nutrition. Instead, she recommended some of the more costly, 'health food'-style brands that are only available at large pet stores. Unfortunately, I am a college student on a budget, so these foods aren't a realistic possibility for me right now. My vet reassured me that Friskies is not bad overall, nutrition-wise. I have found that Friskies is a good balance of value and relatively good nutrition.
