More than expected after switching from electric model dryer, and the top load washer is much better than a front loader. Energy Efficiency Natural Gas is much cheaper and drys quicker than any electric model. Cleaning Time No difficulty in cleaning the washer, the fabric softer tub is easy to remove compared to other Kenmore and GE models I've owned. Performance Does not walk when washing and Dryer is very quite. Ease of Use If you can read English then you should have no trouble with the many settings. Design The dryer could use a multiple port gas line connection such as back and either side. Durability The overlay material could use some thickness as it seems flexible in some area.

I purchased my Frigidaire front loading washing maching in August 2008. I have always had top loading washing machines. They would only hold an average size load of clothes. If I had any large items to wash I had to go to the local laundormat. This was always an inconvenience and costly. I have washed as many as 8 pairs of overalls and jeans in my Frigidaire front loading washing machine. It has yet to fail to get my clothes clean. I use less electricity per week because I can wash larger loads in a lot less time. The front loading washing machine uses a miniminal amount of water to wash a full load of clothes. The front loading washing machine uses half the amount of water that my old top loading washing machine used. The Frigidaire front loading washing machine shows how long the load will take to finish. You can check on the machine at any time to see how much longer it will be before the current load of clothes is finished.

I bought my Frigidaire washer & dryer set brand new in 2000! That is the best move I made that year! I depend on them so much! I wash on a daily basis. I love the dials where you can stop & start in any part of the cycle. The washer moves the clothes around so much better than other brands I have had in the past. I have even washed heavy rugs and probably pushed the washer to its limits! But it keeps going! I think as long as I keep the outside of the set clean then they are happy! The set is easy to keep clean & periodically changing the air vent in the back of the dryer is so easy. The lint screen is easily accessible & I clean it after every load. This should also be washed with soap & hot water at least monthly to keep it clean from build up of chemicals from the dryer sheets. The dryers many settings for length of dry time come in so handy! Also the cool down time at the end of the cycle is wonderful & a must for people who tend to forget there is clothes in the dryer! Ha! ha!

I have a Frigidaire washer and dryer set. It's the first set I've gotten brand new and I've never regretted it once. They are large capacity and heavy-duty machines.  It seems like they're both being run almost constantly and they just keep going and going. I've had them for seven years with just one service call each while still under warrantee. A small item had fallen out of a pocket and jammed beneath the washer's agitator so that it couldn't move, and a knob broke on the dryer.This washer and dryer set were both from Frigidaire's economy line and I would buy them again. It doesn't seem like the ones I have will be breaking soon, though.

We spent a lot of time and effort finding just the right stackable washer and dryer combo. We didn't need all the bells and whistles, but wanted something that did a great job and was quiet. Fridgidaire fit the bill! It's quiet, washes everything without a problem and saved us tons of space in the laundry room! I love this duo!

Moving into a new home can be stressfull. The reliability of a company that manufactures major appliances was what we  were looking for when we decided to purchase a new washer and dryer for our home.  We wanted the stacker set and the customer service was awesome in helping us decide on which models we wanted to purchase withteh features we wanted plus the affordability that we needed. We purchased the Frigidaire Model 1442 dryer and Frigidaire Model 2140 front load washing machine.   We had one minor problem with the dryer unit but the dryer was replaced within a week with no problems since. We would recommend  Frigidaire for anyone looking for majpr appliances.
