I bought a Frigidaire Affinity front load washing machine because I loved the fact that it uses only 1/2 the water of a top loader.  I want to do whatever I can to conserve natural resources.  This machine is a huge disappointment.  It doesn't clean very well.  It is constantly stopping during the spin cycle.  It is almost impossible to get it going again even after readjusting the load.  It is such a wimpy machine that it can't handle washing even 2 small area rugs at the same time.  Well there goes the water-saving!  I had a Whirlpool top loader for many years without any problems at all, but old age finally took its toll on the machine.  I wish I had never bought the Affinity.   A rip-off all the way around.  Overpriced, doesn't clean, doesn't save water.
