Frigidaire Affinity front-load washing machine.
This washing machine is one of the worst I have ever used.
First of all, it doesn't stay level. We have leveled it, and we do know what we're doing, five times. Every time it spins, it loses the level, and on the second load it cavitates so badly it sounds like the house is going to come down around it.
Second, small things, especially socks, get caught in the oversized rubber ring that surrounds the door and end up not getting washed
Third, that rubber ring I just mentioned is filled with soapy water at the end of a washload. If you don't clean it out every time you wash before you unload your clothes, they will get soapy water on them as you're unloading.
Fourth, although you can pause it, you can't open the door during a cycle to, for instance, remove a sock from the door and put it back in the washload.
Fifth, unlike most front-load washers, it has a very low tolerance for larger loads - it very easily unbalances the load and starts to walk across the floor (see first point)
Sixth, if you install the dryer on top of it (I DON'T recommend this) the dryer get so shaken by the movement of the washer that it actually bounces off the walls. We had to repair the sheet rock behind the set because it dented it so deeply thrashing around.
Run, don't walk, away from this washer as fast as you can. I have not found a single positive feature that isn't readily available on any other make. I wouldn't even accept this as a gift.
