Frigidaire Washer - Affinity Front Load Review

After using my Affinity front load washing machine for one year, I have learned the tricks needed to get rid of a "sour" smell that is left in the machine.  I take a dry wash cloth & dry off the front glass and get down inside the rubber rim.  Sometimes I leave the door open to dry completely.  Best yet, there is a new product called "Affresh" made by Whirlpool especially for High Efficiency washers.  Affresh comes in a package of 3 large tablets.  Run the washing machine (empty of clothes) with an Affresh tablet (I used 2 the first time) on the HOT water setting.  Doing this really helped the 'smell".  The package recommended running a tablet through once a month.

Otherwise, I love my Affinity washer & dryer - but have talked to others that agree there is smell.
