Has a new filter that clogs constantly and it is on the inside

I bought a brand new set and I chose Fridgidaire because I had loved my previous set.  Withing 3 months, I had to have repair out because it would not empty water and spin.  Found out from the repairman that they had put a new filter type thing on the inside of the machine that cannot be cleaned by anyone other than a repairman.  I was told if I had to have him back out for the same problem, there would be a charge.  Why did I buy a warranty?  What does this filter do for me?  I have dogs and there is bound to be dog hair in everything I wash.  Repairman told me not to wash anything with dog hair.  DUH!  What good is it to have this washer? Very unsatisfied!

I have the Fridgidaire Affinity also. I bought it 16 months ago also with a "warranty". They have sent someone out 3 times since I purchased it, to repair it. The washer was getting stuck in cycles and not draining as well. Today was the fourth time I had to call and guess what? No longer am I not under warranty, but the extended warranty I do have isn't worth a squat. Fridgidaire agrees that this is an issue but won't replace it. Can you believe it? My in-laws have a washer that is 35 years old and it still works. I have one that is 16 months old, has broken down four times.

I also have a Frigidaire. It was a gift from my in-laws and I feel bad because all we have done since we got it is repair it!! We also had the problem of it not emptying water. We have replaced $300 worth of parts and one of them needs to be replaced AGAIN!!!!!
