I love this unit. I love in Florida and the summers here are brutal without and sort of air conditioning. We went looking for a decent window unit that wasn't going to cost too much and ran across this unit. It wasn't too expensive, but seemed as though it would provide a lot of power. The only problem we had was installing it. The directions are pretty vague, but we figured it out and got it in without it taking too long. It kept my entire 1600 square foot house completely cool. We had it in a window on one side of the house and used a fan in our room which was on the opposite side. Even in 100+ degree weather we were completely comfortable. The remote is an awesome feature as well and rather handy. We did end up using the remote sensor because we felt it cut off too soon otherwise. Also, it stopped working on us during the warranty period and they sent someone out within a couple days. Turns out we had a power surge (we had horrible wiring at the time) and it melted the plug. They replaced the plug at no charge to me and we haven't had any problems since.

We recently purchased this air conditioner to cool our computer room because our central air just wasn't cooling the back room very well. It does an amazing job. It cools the entire back of our house. It has definatly exceeded our expectaions. I love that it has a remote. I can change the settings on it from the computer with out ever having to get up! It's quiet and definatly gets the job done. It was also easy on my wallet! I was expecting to have to shell out a lot more money to get such a quality product. We don't have to run the central air near as often. It is also energy star rated so it hasn't shot up our electric bill either. The unit came with an instruction manual that is very user friendly. Installation was a very easy. The only problem we had was it is a very heavy unit. We had to put a brace under it so it would sit better in the window. I would definatly suggest having someone help carry it.

i have this in my house and i have had truble with window units befoer so i am alyway look out for a good one. This unit is keeps my house cool with out any truble at all. also it is varey easy to use. with low voltage start-up it is easy on on the elctescity and this is easy on the walit. with the bad economy this is a big plus. it has a Anti-microbial filter to catch all the airborne particles like dust mites or pet dander. I live in florda we have lots of polen the clean air filtration system makes life so much easyer. It came with a handy little remote now you don't even have to get out of bed to adjust it i am going to tell my friends about this one. i am going to be getting two more for parts of house i would pay for another one when this one goes out on us

This air conditioner was very easy to install and very easy to use.  It came with all the proper hardware to ensure it stayed secure to the window frame. Surprisingly efficient, cooled my whole apartment despite being located in the bedroom.  It is also easier on my electric bill than I had anticipated, which is nice with living in Southern California weather.
