We always clean our dishes off well before putting them in the dishwasher and they still come out dirty. I don't think this cleans at all. I can usually feel an oily film on the dishes and see streaks. This came in the home we bought but, I would never buy one otherwise. Noise Level I would say this is a pretty loud machine. We can hear from other rooms when it changes cycles. Cleaning Time Out of dishwashers I have used in to he past, I feel this one takes a long time to clean and doesn't even do the job. Loading Flexibility I think the versatility for loading different dishes is pretty decent. Some of the wires on the bottom can be flipped down and the silverware containers can be removed. Performance By the time you get your dishes clean enough to be put in the dishwasher, you no longer need a dishwasher. Design I don't like the black plastic at the top. I think it gives it a cheap look and feel. Durability Ours still runs but, I can't say it ever actually worked for the purpose its made.

This dishwasher does seem to get our dishes clean, and that's what's important. It's also nice looking, and easy to operate. It is definitely not fancy by any means. The only things that bother me are 1) The bottom rack sure clunks in and out, it does not roll smoothly. Both my husband and father have tried to fix this somehow but haven't been able to. 2) Sometimes there is soap still left in the container (I use powder, not liquid). I have used different kinds of soap and I use it sparingly, but it stays caked in there. Overall, it works, but not sure that I'd recommend it. Noise Level Not very quiet. Cleaning Time I usually run it at night, so cleaning time is not an issue. Design Not fancy. Durability Seems to be holding up well so far after 4 years.

I never would have guessed my brand-new, gorgeous dishwasher would be the worst dishwasher I've ever used, but it is.  I have only been using this dishwasher for about a year, but even when we first got it delivered, it wasn't working up to par.   There are times when I just want to start washing my dishes by hand, but I really love the convenience of just throwing them in the dishwasher and turning it on.  After this experience, I would not buy another Frigidaire dishwasher again.  I haven't written the company off completely, but I have for dishwashers.     Loading Flexibility The upper rack has a nice amount of space for glasses and plastic items, and the bottom can accommodate most of my pots and pans.  The silverware caddy is removable if you need to make extra space.  The Frigidaire Dishwasher #FDB1050REC4 also has the following features: high temperature wash, heat dry and delay start.  This dishwasher is super easy to operate, just pick a wash cycle and press start. Performance What I don't like about this dishwasher is the heat dry and the detergent dispenser.  Even the eco-friendly, tree-hugging person that I am, MUST have a functioning heat dry.  When I pull the dishes out of the dishwasher, there is still water dripping off of them.  The dishes on the bottom get dry for the most part, but the dishes on the upper rack are almost always wet. My second problem with this dishwasher is the detergent cup.  One out of every twenty times I run the dishwasher, the detergent cup doesn't pop open to release the detergent.  That means that not only did I waste all that water and electricity for nothing, but I have to run the dishwasher again! Design What I do like about the Frigidaire Dishwasher #FDB1050REC4 is its smooth and sleek design.  It has a black and stainless steel exterior that matches the rest of my kitchen.  The control panel is simple and easy to use.  It offers the following wash cycles: Normal, Pots & Pans, Light Wash, Upper Rack and Rinse Only.

This is the dishwasher that is currently installed in the apartment we are renting, and I must say that it would not be my first choice of dishwasher! It is very noisy during the washing cycle. It also does not dry dishes very well - we also end up having to leave our dishes for an hour or so after it finishes the dry cycle, put them through the dry cycle multiple times, or hand dry them ourselves. Also, the dishwasher doesn't handle the detergent very well - we also find detergent particles on our dishes and we have to rinse them, or rewash them and hope that the residue is washed away! And forget about it washing pots and pans - we have had no luck with this dishwasher washing pots and pans successfully, so we don't even bother putting them in (we just wash those by hand). I think all the modes/settings and look-and-feel/design of the dishwasher is great, I just wish it did it's job well!

This dishwasher came with the townhouse we purchased and we have lived here now two years and we just had electrical issues with it a couple of weeks ago.  When you use the hot water setting eventually it causes some residue to go into the control panel and the door locking mechanism fails to register that the door is shut and so the dishwasher doesn't work.  Luckily someone told us how to pull it apart and to take a cotton swab and use it on the connectors and then it worked like a charm again.  Frigidaire electrical doesn't seem to be the best designed so beware.  The dishwasher does seem to clean dishes well if I rinse the dishes off first before loading.  If the dishes have food that is hard on them this dishwasher struggles.  Also, learned if I wash dishes in the high heat setting the food comes off better and the dishes aren't getting that film on them.  The dishwasher is very loud when it is running and it takes an awful long time to run a cycle.  I also really hate how the door if not shut all the way to the point where you here it latch then it will fall open.

This dishwasher came with my apartment so I am happy to have a dishwasher at all but If I were to buy this then I would be dissapointed in the quality of the wash.It doesnt take off all the food unless you rinse all food off the dish which it says on the unit inside the door that it will and there is no need to rinse dishes....not true! Also for some reason all my cookie sheets and my deep dish pan come out rusted after washing them in the dishwasher.I also use Jet Dry and its supposed to make the spots go away while drying and in this dishwasher it doesn't always do that.I use to have another dishwasher I believe my old one was a Maytag and it did a better job cleaning than this one so its not the best choice to buy.

I have owned Frigiaire Bulit in for over 3 years I have had no problems with my machine if works and gets my dishes very clean and I don;t even rinse them off. Only trouble is when my water sofener runs out of salt and my glasses get cloudy.  I LOVE IT.

This Frigidaire dishwasher came already installed  with the double wide home that was purchased in June 1998. I started using the dishwasher for a large family up to sometimes 3 times a day. At first the dishwasher was quiet and cleaned well. Then it began to leave the dishes dirty. I tried changing from powder soap to gel soap. Then I attempted to clean everything inside even taking all the components apart and cleaning them. I then used household methods to make the dishwasher work more efficiently and leave less dirt. I tried bleach, vinegar and other suggested tips to improve the workability of this machine.I replaced the dishwasher in Dec of 2001 knowing that I would have to pay a little more for a better unit. If price is the only factor in your decision for a dishwasher, then Fridgidaire is your best bet. If you want something to hold up for many years, then I would suggest paying a little more for durability.

I moved to a new house a year ago and this dishwasher was there. I had a frigidaire built in at my old house so I didn't think much about it. I now wish I would have ripped out my old one and brought it with me! For whatever reason, the way this one is designed is not as useful. The rack design doesn't lend itself to filling it with dishes. On the top rack, there is not enough space to put in bowls and if I try to put a bowl in each slot they are so close together they don't get clean. That means I have to skip a slot and that means less dishes getting cleaned. I have a large family and we make lots of dirty dishes. Another annoyances is the start button. I fill up the dishwasher, hit the start button and nothing happens. I check to make sure the door is securely shut, and it is. I twirl the selection dial and try again. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I miss the days of being able to hit the start button and actually having my dishwasher start. I can't wait until I have the funds to replace my appliances and I'll think twice about picking out a frigidaire.

I received the Frigidaire dishwasher from my son for a Christmas gift to replace my old dishwasher.  I really love my new Frigidaire dishwasher.  It is very quiet, can barely hear it running.  It washes the dishes very clean.  When I use a rinse aid, the glasses sparkle after cleaning.  The dishes need very little rinsing to get them clean in the wash cycle.  Even when I do not wash them right away, the dishes get clean.  I like the placement of the two racks in the dishwasher.  They are just at the right height.  I can place pots and pans and plates in the bottom rack and the glasses and dishes in the top rack to get them all clean.  The silverware, also gets very clean and sparkly with very little rinsing.  I like the push buttons on the front for easy turning on.  My dishwasher is black and very easy to clean.  I am very satisfied with my dishwasher and would recommend to everyone.
