After spending a ton of time perusing other's reviews of this product as well as other dehumidifiers I decided to bite the bullet and buy this one and I am glad that I did. My house used to have so much condensation in the kitchen/dining room area that water would be running down the doors and windows and pooling on the floor. This dehumidifier has definitely helped to dry everything out. It has also helped to disperse the musty smell that was sometimes noticeable in other parts of the home. The tank is easily removable and easy to put back in. I have had absolutely no problems so far. The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is because as some others have noted it is quite noisy but to me that is a small price to pay for the work this product does.
