This is the stove my parents bought for their house about five years ago. I lived with them at the time so I used it to cook almost every day. It was so nice when we first got it because it was top of the line and the glass cooktops were all the rage. Then you realize when you start to use it that the cleaner made especially for these stoves is so expensive and you have to use a lot to get even small stains off the top. It is pretty easy to clean, but is annoying that you have to wait for the stove to toally cool before you can clean it and by then the mess is crusted on. It also is less than desireable because it takes so much longer than a gas stove to heat up water to the point of boiling and about triple the time if you are boiling a large stock pot of water. The good part is the oven. It heats up so quickly and evenly the entire time. It is so powerful you have to turn the temperature down at least twenty five degrees less than what the directions in the recipe says. It is really easy to set the oven temperature and control all the features on the easy to read digital screen. If this came in a gas stove I would recommend this oven to the end of the world.
