I like the look of this refrigerator. Its interior is not as well built as the one it replaced and it is currently rattling. I have a repair ticket in and hope to have that solved next week. My old refrigerator was dying and I needed to replace it with a new one. I had a 21 cubic foot Hotpoint, it was 20 years old. So, I looked for a model with reasonable ratings and about the same height. This refrigerator comes in two sizes, a 21 and an 18.3. I wanted the 21 cubic foot one was 68.75 inches tall and my space below the cabinetry was 68.25. So I had to step down to the smaller model. Noise Level The unit rattles. The fan is hitting the casing. It is not hugely loud, but when you hold the casing still, it is really quiet. So I know what it is supposed to sound like Interior Organization I got the version that has the shelves connected to the back on an adjustable bar instead of the one where the shelves pull out. This provides more option as to how to place the shelves and, since I open against a wall, I would have to pull the refrigerator all the way out into the kitchen so I could adjust the shelves. Temperature Control The dual temperature control is fantastic. That is one of the reasons I got it in the first place. Ease of Cleaning The outside is easy to clean and I expect the shelves, glass, will be easy to clean as well. Durability I expect to have this unit for a good ten years. Not as much as the previous one, but hey, everything seems to be built more cheaply these days. Design I like the design both interior and exterior. The large door shelves are great. The only thing I would change is because the freezer is shorter, the basket on the bottom had to be detached from the middle shelf when I moved the shelf up to the upper level. Since I don't use the ice maker, I didn't install it and moving up the shelf made sense. But the basket disrupts the storage on the lower level, so I removed the basket.
