This has been a good stove but i have had a few problems with it. The over all picture is good but there could be some changes mad in how they make it. The convection oven is nice but you really have to learn to cook with it because it is different then you are use to. Temperature Control It has no problems there and reaches its temp after the right amount of time and keeps it there Heat Distribution it does well with that and everything come out even. Have to watch the convection time Durability Holding up really nice Design This is where it needs improvement. Not enough space between the burners to put all you need at one time. They need to space them a littlle more apart Ease of Cleaning It is a littlle hard to clean but they all are. The black does look dirty after awhile

I really loved this Frigidaire ceramic top range until I discovered it was a fire hazard.!!!!! It has a white ceramic top that looks nice and is very easy to clean with cleaner. I love the 4 dual elements for using all sizes of pans, however it would be nice if they were staggered to allow more space for more than two large pans and two small pans all at one time. I am not crazy about the convection and don't use it much. I don't really like the double oven. It is more like a warmer than anything. I tried baking in the bottom oven once and it didn't do well at all. Took longer than in a regular oven and didn't bake evenly. I use it like a drawer now. I just found out after 4 incidences and going to the Frigidaire website that it is on voluntary recall. The elements have turned on by themselves twice now. Once after a storm when the power went out (the knobs were in off position) and once while I was cleaning it and the knobs weren't even on the control panel. I had taken them off to clean them. I put them back on and tried to get it to turn off and it wouldn't. The elements just turn on and the displays start going haywire and the temp keeps fluctuating from low to high. I have to turn off the breaker to get the elements to turn off. Thank goodness I was at home both times and my house didn't burn down. It has also increased temp to a high temp when the knob was set on low. It was less than two years old when one of the inside elements quit working. And three of the displays has cracked after I bought it. I would not suggest the range to anyone because of the fire hazard and possiblity of it happening when you are not at home and your house burning down.

We purchased this range when we moved into our new house.  We especially like the center burner which has a removable griddle.  It is perfect for cooking bacon, burgers, etc.  The other four burners are good sized and easily accomodate large pans.  One of the burners is a simmer burner, so it is hard cook at anything but a low temperature on that burner.   The oven is large and holds plenty of food.  The controls are easy to use and easy to figure out.   The cons to this oven are that it is difficult to clean cooked on food off of the cooktop and you also cannot completely clean grease and oil off of the castiron burners and griddle, so even when they are clean, they tend to look dirty.  The small oven on the bottom, which is marketed to be a quick way to cook small items like rolls, is pretty much useless for anything but keeping already cooked food warm.  The small oven takes forever to warm and even longer to cook.  Even worse, when you open the drawer to check on the food, all of the heat escapes and you have to start over again.  Save yourself the time and just use the large oven.
