When we bought our house, this was the range that was originally in it. I love having a flat stovetop. The only thing is the food gets stuck to it quite often and we have to clean it with a glass cleaner several times a week. If we don't keep up on it, it seems like it is harder to get rid of the burn marks. It's easy to set up a timer, cooking is even in the oven and preheating seems to go quickly. Everything that I cook in this oven cooks really well. Same with the stove! I've never had any problems cooking with the stovetop. One thing that I don't like about having a freestanding range is that food gets caught between the range and my counter and it's hard to get in between to clean it out. Also I like to keep my towels on the handle to dry my hands. With the stainless steel it leaves drip marks after I dry my hands on the front of the range. This isn't a huge issue because you can buy stainless steel cleaner but I feel like I'm constantly cleaning my stainless steel because of this. Overall it cooks well and we have had this range 3 years with no problems!
