We purchased this dehumidifier to assist in pulling the moisture out of the indoor air.  Living in Florida, the humidity is so high that it causes the home to feel hot even when the thermostat tells me otherwise.

Frigidaire Dehumidifier FDL5051 didn't last very long.

I purchased the Frigidaire Model FDL5051 on September 27, 2008 and it stopped working on October 21, 2009. It made it just past the one year warranty period. It still has the remaining four years on the sealed refrigeration system. The cost to ship this item to a repair facility cost about have the price...
