OK, it's not all the fault of the dishwasher. But when the plumber came to install it, it turns out that Frigidaire doesn't include the parts that are needed for the ordinary basic plumbing installation. We had to go back to the store and get them. I read the instructions on how to install it under the counter to see if there was anything else I needed. And I asked, "is there anything else we need?" at the appliance store. "Oh, No" they assured me. So the plumber hooks it up and we wait for the counters to be installed.
Turns out, in a section of the instructions that you DO NOT NEED TO READ before either installing the plumbing or installing the dishwasher under the counter, it mentions a dishwasher seal kit. It's a specific Frigidaire kit. It's not included, either, and is not available from the standard stores. So here I sit Saturday morning unable to install it because I have to order a kit on-line and wiat for it to come.
You're probably thinking, like I was, that the kit isn't required all the time. But no, it's required. This dishwasher is meant to be installed between cabinets and under the counter, and this kit is the seal that makes that installation work.
So I can't tell you much about the dishwasher, but I am really not impressed with Frigidaire.
