Love my Frigidaire FDB1502RGC

5

I have owned this dishwasher for over 3 years and love it. I bought the entire Frigidaire package: Fridge, Stove, Microwave, Dishwasher, Washer, and Dryer. I have only had one issue with the package which was my with my wash machine. The dishwasher has been great! I do not rinse most of my dishes and as long as I do the heavy duty wash on high heat they come out perfect. The heavy duty cycle is long running, I think it takes about 2 hours for one load. I have tried the normal wash and as long as the dishes are somewhat "clean" going in they come out just fine. You can choose to dry the dishes as well, I use this setting every time I run my dishwasher. It can be noisy during some cycles but that's about my only complaint. My husband wanted to start saving money so we started doing the dishes by hand (we are on septic so we don't pay for water) and after a month of doing this and checking our electric bill we didn't see a difference. So I would say it is pretty energy efficient.

Might as well wash everything by hand!

This is one of those dishwashers that requires that you pre-wash your dishes before you put them in the dishwasher, which almost defeats the purpose of having a dishwasher in the first place. The only reason I continue to use it is because I have a bum arm and it is easier to get a general clean of the dishes with it than to cause myself unwanted and unneeded pain. Noise Level You can hear when this bad boy is on. It is one of those noises that after time you get used to the noise so eventually it disappears, but it is still there. It still requires you to speak louder, turn the tv up higher, anything to overpower the noise that it makes. Cleaning Time It takes longer than you would think for the cleaning cycle to complete. If I could, I am pretty sure I could do the dishes faster myself. Loading Flexibility We are a family of four, and it is able to fit most of the dishes we use throughout one day, that's it. You can move things around according to your needs, hince some flexibility, so all in all, it has some. Performance It doesn't give much as far as performance wise. If you don't pre-soak, pre-scrub, pre-clean, you are still going to have dirty dishes after it is done. Just makes sure there is no stuck on anything before you put things in there. Design The design is simple. The one thing it has going for it is the stainless steel appeal. Durability It hasn't broken yet, so that's an pro, right?

Fridgidaire Dishwasher cleans dishes great!

4

We have this dishwasher in our rental apartment and it works great. The dishes are always clean and I love the delayed start option. Our dishwasher is a little loud (not sure if it is the way this dishwasher runs or if there is something wrong), and the cycle takes a long time to run (about 2 hours), but with how clean our dishes are I don't even care. I set it to run every morning for 2 hours after I leave for work and come home to clean and dry dishes. I definitely recommend this product for any busy household. It is compact but has a lot of options for arranging the dishes. I wish it worked a little better with tall things, like big cups or long serving utensils, but If lay the utensils on their side on the top rack they still get very clean. The silverware sorter is also very nice. It has a few different size compartments which is great for sorting by type of utensil. Noise Level This could be a problem with our rental unit. I am not sure. I will update once maintenance checks it out.

cleans very well but very loud!

This dishwasher came with our new home we purchased in 2008. It usually takes about an hour to clean and dry our dishes and does a great job. Only thing I dislike about this dishwasher is it is very LOUD. I'm not sure what happened but the first year we had it, it seemed very quiet then all of a sudden it became very loud and to be honest annoying. We always run our dishwasher at night so we dont have to listen to it over our TV when we are watching in our living room. It has great space inside and you can move the different baskets around depending on what you are trying to clean to make the right room. Other than that its a great product.

I guess it washes the dishes.

I think it is alright. I think that the dish rack is very strange. I am not sure why it is designed like that. I feel like it does not hold the plates and bowls upright. I will definitely pay more attention to how the bottom rack I don't use the dishwasher that often so I guess it is not that big of a deal but I would Noise Level I guess this is something I have never really noticed. I do know my families last dishwasher was very loud so this one is probably quieter. Cleaning Time This is not something that I have ever really worried about. I think that Performance It does a fine job of washes the dishes. Design The outside looks simple and nice. It is stainless steel which makes

Whoa! Steam ruins cabinets!

Yike. The first problem is that all the control buttons facethe front and protrud a bit so that every time someone even remotely leans too close it turns the dishwasher on. I have to remember to put it into lock mode to avoid this happening over and over again.Once I have finished a load I have to oimmediately lock it or it can accidently rewash the clean dishes when someone goes near the controls. Not only is it so noisy you can hear throughout the entire house but there are no racks designed to hold dishes that are square. You also cannot adjust the top rack to allow for any oversized items. The steam escapes in huge amounts during the heating process and has warped my cabinets on that side. Frigidaire offers no real solution to this. I will replace this as oon as I can afford to.

My best friend in the kitchen!

My Frigidaire Built-in Dishwasher FDB1502RGC/FDB1502RGB is truly my best friend in the kitchen! With its sleek stainless steel design and ease of use, it makes life very easy after cooking. I love to cook everyday, and find this dishwasher very easy to operate. It fits in very well in a small kitchen and is very spacious even though it may look small in size. The shine of the stainless steel version brings a luxurious look to any kitchen. I am able to fit even 4 cooking pots on the bottom shelf, which is a life saver as I am too busy to wash dishes. There are cycles customized to what you'd like to wash, but normal works for everything. I was able to get a 5 year warranty from the store where I bought the dishwasher, but it is of such durability that I may not even need it. This dishwasher is a great buy!

Not the greatest but not the worst.

This Frigidaire dishwasher came with our house when we moved in four years ago, so I'm not exactly sure how old it is right now. When we first moved in the washer worked great, you still had to rinse off dishes and pans before putting them in but other than that it got them clean. It has different settings on it for doing light dishes or for doing a load with pots and pans. I have noticed that in the past year it hasn't been cleaning as great as it used to though. It still runs and completely finishes the cycle and cleans the dishes but the problem is that sometimes the little door where the dish soap goes doesn't open fully during the wash cycle. I realized this one day when I went to get a cup of water and when filling the cup it got soapy. I guess the door only opens partly sometimes which lets a little bit of soap out during each cycle, so now I make sure to rinse the dishes well when I take them out but it's still easier than washing by hand. This machine isn't the highest quality machine and it's not the most expensive, but you will get what you paid for. It should run fine for the first few years but once it gets older you may experience problems, but this could happen with any dishwasher, even an expensive machine may need work after a few years of use. Noise Level I usually forget that it is even running. Cleaning Time Works fast, has different settings. Loading Flexibility Can fit 1 1/2 days worth of dishes in one load. Performance It has performed well except for issue with the soap dispensing door. Design The design works well, it has a larger basket on bottom and a smaller one on top, and the machine fits snug right under the counter. Durability It ran well for quite a few years.

it's an okay dishwasher

We just bought this dishwasher about four months ago because our old Frigidaire one broke. This new model is "ecofriendly" it is quiet, but I do question how well it's cleaning the dishes. The first thing I noticed was that I could smell the dishwashing detergent on the clean dishes, especially plastics. I don't think it was rinsing them enough, so I have to wash on heavy and sanitize, which defeats the whole eco wash. Noise Level Very quiet Performance Bought it for the eco feature, but the eco feature cleans and rinses poorly. Durability The last frigidaire didn't last but three years, so I don't know what to expect from this one.

Efficient and Good Bargain

I went with the Fridgedaire Built-in Dishasher FDb1502RGB because someone told me it is actually made by Electrolux (not sure if it is true or not). It is a good dishwasher and does get the dishes nice & clean. There is quite a bit of room to get larger items in it but not a whole lot of flexibility of where you can fit things. It is well insulated and quiet. This has proved to be an economical buy that definitely gets the job done.
