   My old reliable Kenmore washer recently died....mid-cycle of course! So when I went into the Sears store looking for a new one, I really was interested in the new technology that was out there. However, my husband and I are empty nesters and he couldn't really see the value in a high efficiecy model as there are just the 2 of us and he has recently retired. RATS! The I saw the Frigidaire 3.5 cu. ft Energy Star Washer. WIth the 10% off sale that Sears was having, plus the $50. rebate from Frigidaire, the price was only $60 more than a "new old reliable" model. So, I bought it.

This is the second Frigidaire front loader I have owned.  The first one lasted almost ten years and would probably still be running if I was more careful (should have re-balance the machine after moving with a level, not by eyeballing---totally my fault!)  Despite my ineptness, I purchased another Frigidaire without question!  It is a great machine....great cleaning capacity and easy to program.  Plus it saves so much water!
